Requested VFF: 3/7/16
Approved: 3/8/16
Processed: 3/11/16
Credited back to Bovada Account: 4/11/16

So I checked the "Check" withdrawal option, and it now seems like the $50 is waived by the line crossing it out. Wondering if I'm better off with that option as opposed to another VFF.

I got a couple checks in January that were in my hand in under 5 days. I requested one April 1, approved aproved April 2, and I haven't recieved tracking info for it yet. So there might be a lil delay all around I don't know.

I suggest using the check option if you can instead of vff till they have it fixed, they've always came within 3-10 days and never had a problem cashing one in past three years.

Small VFF withdraw submitted 4/5. Processed 4/7. Not yet received but no worries.

Meanwhile Carbon is now offering bitcoin deposit and withdraw. Withdraws are taking only 2-4 days but there is a 5% fee. Hopefully bovada will catch up to Carbon soon.

VFF withdrawal requested 3/13
Approved 3/14
Still not received

Appreciate everyone posting updates. Just got off the phone with Bovada CS and they said that VFF requests processed/approved 3/7 are being received. Is there any truth to this statement? anyone that requested a withdrawal VFF from 3/1 - 3/15 received their funds?

VFF is a $50 fee as is Check. You get 1 free cashout of either option once a month.

Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

i would advise any low volume cash out player (i.e. less than 3k a month) not to add VFF if you're fine with checks how they are. they now add a 50 dollar fee to any check since i have the VFF option.

It's not something you voluntarily add. They add it for you.

However the VFF withdrawal option can be avoided being added by not doing a deposit with a VFF qualifying card.

For example, the last deposit I made with a card was Netspend and I never had the VFF withdrawal option because Bovada said that type of card didn't qualify for it.

update on 4/12...still nothing - they reimbursed me $50 in bonus funds and assured me the funds were "safe" just experiencing technical delays. I kept pressing for a timeline and a better explanation, but wasn't given anything. Really hoping the funds come through this week as I've put all my Bovada playing on hold until I receive them.

Your payout method also depends on what State you live in. For example, in Utah, wires and checks are not allowed. Only VFF.

Submitted on the same day and processed on the same day. Talked to customer service about when to expect the money they said should be deposited on friday the 15th. So im not worried either dont know why everyone on here is freaking out I have had no problems with VFF.

Everyone has different withdrawal options and fees associated with those options depending on different factors.

The blanket statement that if the VFF option has been used or is even available to you then the result is that you will be paying the $50.00 Check processing fee (no 1 free ck/mo) is a little confusing/misleading.

I can say with certainty on my account that:

1) I've always had the VFF option
2) I've never used the VFF option
3) BOTH the Check AND VFF options were available as my "one free monthly"
4) Sometime between mid-Feb and late March they eliminated my free check option, leaving only VFF as free (this change was not communicated to me by Bovada)

I called last week and made a case for them to reinstate the check option as free on my account. My case was that I have never used VFF, my account has been open for a long time and always in perfect standing, the vast majority of my check withdrawals are max, and that Checks have always worked out phenomenally for me as a cash out option (no bank hold issues, immediate clearing, etc).

The rep was sympathetic and stated that my request was logical and there is a possibility it could be approved. She stated she would escalate my request.

As of today, the Cashier --> Withdrawal still shows a hypothetical check as incurring the $50.00 fee.

I knew I would have to follow up (that they wouldn't reach out to me voluntarily with the response to my request) so I will call again sometime this week.

I believe I've read recently (in this thread I think..or the P5s thread) that some people have been able to successfully request that their free Check be reinstated. I think it would be good if people posted their experiences with this particular issue or if this is something they are trying or have successfully done.

I have both the VFF and Check option available, however, I only use VFF. They still offer 1 free withdraw per month.

Been reading the last weeks posts, looking for some info on how checks are currently doing but all I can find is the same 5 or 6 posts made over and over again about how "my VFF from March 6th......" - has anyone done a check withdraw in April and are they still coming as fast as 3-7 days?

general tip: if no one is complaining about something, in this case checks, they are probably doing well.

I can agree w/ that, in general, but it's kind of hard to tell if anyone is complaining about checks because of the page after page of basically the same VFF post. Which in turn makes it hard to see anything but VFF. Even if checks are doing well there is usually some kind of post about them.

Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

Same here. I said a few pages back I had to jump through a ton of hoops of verification and stuff which I've never had to do before. Finally got to request a cashout, approved April 2 and no tracking info. I last recieved 2 checks in January and they were in hand within 5 days. They were from a Quebec bank so maybe the new laws there are the issue. I've called CS a few times and they keep saying 5-10 not including weekends. So today is day 7.. We'll see.

In bovadas defense, which is rare, in January the withdraw page said 3-7 days, now it says 5-10. Fingers crossed.

I have been requesting checks and debit card withdrawals due to the delays with VFF. My last 2 checks from Mar-Apr came within 3 business days.

I just tried to have my VFF cash out canceled and reprocessed. They claimed since it has already been sent out they can not do that.
