Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

Is it humanly possible to get 20-30k off Bovada/month? It looks like wires would be the only way, but they seem to be unavailable or failing for most people. Doesn't this rule Bovada out as an option for US mid-high pros? If so, why do mid-high games continue to run all the time? My brain is not processing this.

once you get your first check in a large withdraw you get each additional check a week pretty much like clockwork

Aren't the checks just for 3k max each though? That's 10k/month max if everything goes right (checks arrive on time, no bounces). Still nowhere near 20-30k.

Many high stakes players prob moved out of the country, which means you can get payouts in a day to Moneybookers...others will still have a ton of money on the site if cashing out is difficult. Others just know the reward/risk is high enough in their minds to continue playing.

I'm lookin to make my first payout. They want credit card verification and a copy of my ID. Is this normal? Is it safe? Don't like the idea of faxing this info. What's the best way to go. Check, transfer? THX

Thanks, nice post. I relocated for a couple months to play on Stars, so I will call to see if that opens up any more options for me since I have a Canadian bank account.

On the risk/reward... do you mean they hope that they will make a successful wire? Or that they hope better withdrawal methods will eventually become available?

This is standard. Best way to go is clearly the free monthly check. For me it takes 3-4 weeks with the Bovada switch and took 7-10 business days when Bovada was Bodog.

Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

rec 2/7
app 2/9

no check no tracking info..which is sucks but understandable in this current environment for US players. what discourages me is that on 2/29 the customer support told me it was at a local fedex but he did not have the tracking information to give me; which obv made zero sense. then for several day afterwards they kept leading me on saying it would be delivered that day. finally this morning 3/6 they said that i have waited long enough, and they would have their payment dept look into it and they will email me..

i guess my point is that i feel they are just handling the slow payouts in an unprofessional manner

I called Bovada, and they said that banking through Canada is not an option. In fact, you are not even allowed to play from Canada.

They basically told me that beyond getting the checks, there is no way to get money off their site.

So it seems that playing mid-high on Bovada makes very little sense right now unless you are happy getting only limited numbers of checks.

Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

you can play from Canada, you can move to Canada, get a bank account/Moneybookers set up...they don't know wtf they're talking about

(Maybe it has something to do with Bovada vs Bodog name brand, but they do service Canadian players in some way)
