Ok, scratch that. Apparently since I was heads up and the other player was also disconnected it looks as though I was awarded the pot.

This stuff may be basic for most of you and have been answered before but:

I've never used bitcoin before and would like to get all of my money of Bovada once we can't play poker anymore on there.

1)what do i need to get money off using bitcoin?i assume it's linked to a bank account but people are mentioning coinbase, block chains etc. Is this stuff easy to use?

2)bitcoin prices can fluctuate a lot so how can i get my money off without getting ****ed by a massive devaluation of bitcoin?

3)anything else a novice like me should know?

Thanks

Im having a problem creating a BLOCKCHAIN wallet. I opened an account with Circle very easy but this Blockchain thing is frustrating. They sent me an email to verify my account and it doesnt take me there.
All I get is a sign in page and it keeps saying cant establish a session.

Its not allowing me to verify my account.
Anyone have this trouble?
Are there any other services besides Blockchain that do this?

That sign that you can access through your email brings up your wallet id. It should be long and a mix of numbers and letters. If you enter the password you created, it will take you to your account.

It's seriously been answered 5 thousand times.

1) How do you know people are mentioning coinbase. If you saw that, how the **** did you not see the answer to your question.

2) How the **** do you know how much bitcoin prices fluctuate if your such a newb?

3.) How to read

I clearly said i never used it before which is how while i may have heard some terms thrown around I didn't know the ins and outs of it and didn't want to make rube mistakes. And while prices do fluctuate obviously i don't know exactly how that works (ie can i get ****ed if before bovada processes my withdrawal if bitcoin tanks?)

But yea clearly anyone who has heard terms thrown around about any topic is an expert on that topic right *******?

Re: bitcoin flux

I would maybe put an alert on your phone for bovada emails. But that's not necessary because it rarely fluctuates more than a few percent within a day. Also remember, half of the fluctuations will increase your withdraw. I'm lucky, it seems every time I withdraw bitcoin goes up like a half apercent in that few hour time frame and make money.

Last advice. Withdraw in 5-10 small amounts before sept 30. This prevents/minimizes a rare 4 hour depreciation event plus you don't want to have 100% of roll in limbo when new to bitcoin.

Just take an hour to learn it first.

Not sure what the problem is from your description. Lots of people have set up blockchain w/o any problems.

That said there are lots of wallets. Use electrum or multibitHD.

With any wallet (including blockchain) you want to write down the 12 recovery words and store it in a safe place. That way you can recover your account if you forget the password.

This answers everything that you'll need to get your stuff off BadBeats...wait, I mean Bovada.

If you're worried about fluctuation (which I have never had an issue with) maybe consider requesting a check. Bitcoin is the easiest way and it's really the only thing that is keeping me playing since checks seem to backfire with some banks.

I made my first deposit to Ignition yesterday with bitcoin. Sent the exact amount requested, verified on the blockchain within an hour, but now 24 hours later the funds are still not in my account. Support asked me to send them screenshots, which they have escalated to their deposits team. I was told to expect a reply within another 24-48 hours.

I know I am probably being neurotic...but it seems like a lot of btc withdrawals have been approved same day or next day.

Anyone experienced longer than that?

This is Bovada, btw..not Ignition.

OK just solved my blockchain problem. My Kaspersky Total Security was blocking that site. I had to go into Kaspersky to allow blockchain.info to be accepted.
Now if I can find out how to make a withdrawal from Bovada to blockchain to Circle to my bank.
Any links to how I do it?
Thanks for the support.

Received a $35 fee from bank for check bouncing. Bovada instantly credit my bovada account with $35.

Still not very happy.
Bovada put the funds of the blank check back into my account along with the $35 fee. Not sure what to do next to get funds out. No bitcoin. Ideas?

Yes, mine have been taking very long, I play blackjack mainly so I take a lot of money off the house, for example they gave me a 6.00 bonus and I turned it into 80 in like 20 minutes, I know that's chump change to bovada but I think they want me to spend it. My first btc wothdrawal took nearly 4 days as well.

Let's all agree to stop helping with Bitcoin those people too ****ing lazy to browse just a few pages back.

The information, ALL OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW, is literally in this thread. ALL OF IT!

If I wanted a PhD in Bovada <> Bitcoin transactions, I would need only this thread. A ****ing PhD!

If you don't want to use the search button or spend 15 minutes researching how this "whole Bitcoin thing" works, you deserve to have to wait for shady paper checks from another country.

you really could have just said the info is all in the last 10-20 pages.

amazing that you'd have a phd while still being too stupid to understand that someone could have heard a few terms that have to do with bitcoin and understand that bitcoin prices can fluctuate without knowing the ins and outs of it all.but yea bc i heard of bitcoin fluctuations i should have known exactly how they work. ass clown.

even more amazing how helpful the 90 second youtube video someone linked for me was.

that video should be stickied.

I wonder if we're better off cancelling withdrawals that haven't been processed in a day, and then making a new BTC receive adddress and requesting a new one.
