I emailed them regarding this and they said that this option was not available but someone would email me once my new address was verified. I assume this is a "nudge-nudge wink-wink" type thing. I saw people mention making 3 deposits and $50 fees but would appreciate it if someone would clarify.
LMAO they have no qualifications plain and simple. Bodog is trying to keep money in their site. They don't want a mass exodus of regulars at a time when the overlays are as big as ever, even after they cut down the amount on their daily guaranteed tourneys over the last year or so. With the payment problems and after the feds seized alot of their cash flow, they know the smart regs are trying to take their money and run straight to FTP and Stars.

The guy on the phone straight up told me WU is not an option for me because I would be using it to withdraw and not deposit, and they aren't concerned with that. That is a f***ing joke. If this was an honest company I would have the same payout options as my friend who lives down the street from me who plays on Bodog, but I don't, probibly because he is a loosing player and I'm not. He has never used WU but he has the option hahaha. I used rapid transfer almost on a weekly basis before they canceled the option. You cannot justify this to me any other way, something unethical is going on.

If it will hurt them to take your roll off the site, they won't give you anything other than snail mail check as an option. Merry Christmas time when you get it, and if you've been a good boy hopefully it won't bounce.

Hey guys I got an issue. Just requested a payout yesterday and when I go to my payouts screen in my account it looks like this:

Request Date Request Amount Paid Amount Date Completed Status
10/06/2008 04:33 AM US$ XXX US$ XXX
Approved

08/04/2008 05:09 AM US$ XXX US$ XXX 08/04/2008 01:44 PM
Approved

Under "Date Completed" for my new payout it says nothing...Should I be worried about this??? It does say approved, so I dont know what to think. Ive never seen where it didnt say the time in which the payout was "completed".

I actually called them earlier and the lady assured me it wasn't a problem...but still with the recent issues lately it makes me wonder why a time/date isn't listed.

I left a little bit of ecash on there, so officially I am not switching sites yet. I do, however, play on FullTilt from time to time already.

When I finally lose my roll, I sure am going to miss the loose play on Bodog.

I requested a 5 figure cashout on September 19th. I didn't want to wait two plus months to get the cash via check so I inquired about using money transfer.

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.

We regret to inform you that in order to be eligible to request a payout via Money Transfer you must have had that option as your primary depositing option previously, however upon review of your account, it was noted that you have never deposited using this option.

Therefore you will be unable to request your payout as mentioned previously via this method.

Note also that in order to be eligible to request your payouts via Money Transfer you are required to make several deposits using this option and the amount of deposits made must outweigh your present depositing options.

Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards,

Customer Service

I just got off the phone with customer service and, after deciding to suck it up and pay the $150 fee for the money transfer option, I was told that I have not made the option my primary deposit option and the payment would be made by check by courier. This is after I haven't made a deposit in 4 months, and have made an extremely high number of money transfer payouts up until the point the fee was initiated. I know other players had run into this before, but I had been using the method succesfully for a very long time and for countless withdrawals.

So, even if you have the money transfer option available, it might not always be. I'll be talking to a supervisor when one gets back into the office to hopefully get this straightened out.

If you cashout and are going to be receiving multiple checks, any idea how long it takes to receive a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc, after the first one takes about a month????

Might as well ask in here, there's rumours that Bodog are going under - are these just rumours or is there anything in them? Was going to make a deposit but not so sure now...

When did you hear this? There was rumors that they might leave the US market after the football season. SBR just raised their rating of Bodog from a C to a C+ and stated that non-US players are not having the same payout problems as US players. They went on to further state that Bodog appears to simply have trouble finding US processors and does not appear to have any money problems.

As far as if that means anything, who knows.

I was warned about them on another forum and linked to this, so short-term they're ok? Fwiw they process Neteller withdrawals within minutes so that shouldn't be a problem.

Of course, I can't really say anything with certainty. It is positive news that they are paying non-American customers quickly. My guess is that Bodog will have a profitable football season and it would take a lot to make a company abandon a profitable situation.

So, my personal thought is that our money is currently safe on Bodog but we won't be seeing quick payouts any time soon. During my most recent calls to customer service, they haven't been touting the new payout options that would be coming soon like they were a month or two ago. For some, waiting for payouts isn't a big deal but for others, it might be a huge problem.

So I am attempting to take my balance down to a reasonable level and will continue to play on the site. I'll reevaluate my plan when the football season comes to an end. My recommendation for other players is that Bodog currently is still a good site to play at for Americans and if you are looking for another site, Bodog is a good one to look into. I would recommend being careful not to put too much of your roll on the site, though, and to watch your account balance so it doesn't get too high.

seriously.. bodog has PLENTY of money.. I don't get why people think the fact they are slow at paying means they are out of money. It's a process they must go through because the US gov has been giving them ****... it's plain and simple.

That is what I don't get...if football is their busy season and they pull out of the US market who is actually going to bet on football? I find it hard to imagine that a lot of Europeans bet on the NFL and college football. So, I think those rumors are false.
