Wanted to share how I got around the huge MT payout fee this week. I called back Wednesday at like 5pm ET. I just complained that I had recently made a MT deposit which I was told I needed to do to withdrawal, but just the other day I was told I would have to pay the new fees. I told them it was completely unfair as I followed all instructions that I had in print from their email & I should be entitled to at least one free payout. The girl said she understood and asked me to hold. She came back & said that it would be no problem, she would process any MT payout for free then & in 48hours I would get the Control # and sender name. I have already picked up the cash, they did not change me a cent for the payout. I guess the squeaky wheel gets the original terms. I recommend you try the same, we don't deserve to lose winnings over their issues. Best of luck and if you fail one day, call the next.

Is it in any way not a bad sign that they raised the price to get a second check/WU payout?

How could this not be a signal that Bodog is having money issues?

I made a deposit 9/8 and had planned to make 2 more in order to qualify for a WU payout. I was pleased to hear that I was qualified for a WU payout and requested one. I was approved and received my info in less than an hour. Yes big fee but relieved.

Are you saying you deposited 1 time and qualified for the WU payout? They told me you had to make several in order for it to become your primary method. Have you picked up the money?

Online poker and Gambling would be a better place w/o Bodog.

How a sites software can get worse as time goes on w/ less players is beyond pathetic...I know many o sportsbooks that get you timely payout that are based offshore.

Just thought I would let every one know that my check i waited 2 and a half months for bounced. My bank resubmitted the check the next day and 2 days later I got the money deposited in my account, kind of weird that it bounced, you would think they would always have sufficient funds to pay there players out at all times.Sure am glad I am at stars now and off of bodog.

I deposited through Western Union only once and two months later, which was three weeks ago, I was able to withdrawal money through Western Union. Smooth transaction. When I requested a payout over the phone, Bodog did acknowledge that WU payout might not go through. Luckily it did!

The Payout situation does seen surreal and perposterous. 8-10 weeks to get a check?

As for for my own personel experience at BODOG:

I have made about 12 withdrawals via $gram or W.U. since April, and I have been paid in less than 48 hours every time. Yesterday I requested $500, and I got the $ money in 2 hours. I did pay the $50 fee.

At least BODOG has good customer service as far as being able to call them.
FullTilt does not even give out a phone #.

What has not been mentioned is BODOG's incentives that they are giving every 30 day period for making deposits. They match a deposit for up to $500 bonus. Basically if you deposit 500 then play about 40-50 hours during the next 30 days, then they match your deposit with a free bonus up to $500. They give you $1 in bonus for every 10 poker points earned.

Anyhow its the best bonus situation for deposits that I have ever seen.

As for everyone saying screw BODOG because of the Payout situation?

Consider that the FEDS are comparatively targeting Bodog more than the other sites.

If the Feds succeed in driving out Bodog, then it may have a cascading effect on the other sites that are able to payout faster.

Should we not defend Internet Poker where the current battle is, rather than retreating only to be beseiged later on at another site?

I made the mistake of pinning my hopes to their credit card a few months back. After that fell through I submitted my payout on 8/13. I am 33 business days into my 40 day wait.

I have not had a chance to read over all 1400 posts here, so please forgive me if my question is redundant guys...but I requested a payout by courier on Aug. 19th for 7k...On Oct. 14th it will be the 40th business day, and I have a flight booked to AC for the 23rd...

I am planning to have this dough for the trip....do you guys think I will see this dough b4 the 23rd, keeping in mind the 14th will be 40 business days? Should I not get my hopes up and just cancel the flight?

Any opinions based on personal experience would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated...thnx very much!!

You will probably get the check just in time for the trip but you might not want to count on it.

I wouldnt count on it, took me over 2 and a half months to get my check. (July 3 requested check- Sept 17 received check). Plus for most banks they will put a large out of state check such as yours on a 5 business day hold before it is deposited into ur account.

I am in the same boat. Not quite as much as yours though but wanted the money for my trip to vegas on the 10th. Fortunately I don't have to have the money in hand to go.

If you make a withdrawal with MT do they just take the $150 out of your account or is your withdrawal only only $2850? I've made two MT payouts, but none since the added the fees. Thanks.

It seems that most checks are taking 2.5 months based on the posts in this thread.

They take it out of your account. If you cash 3k through MT, you will get 3k.

OK, so I guess the check I requested on 8/23 probably won't come until around the beginning of November. Remind me never to play at bodog again.

Just like most here, I had to wait 2 months to get my check and it just came FedEx this morning... Requested August 2nd -> Received Sept 30th.

Will probably play for a few more months there and get the rest of the roll out. I already have Stars and Tilt...
