$9,999 > gets reported to the gov. Depositing 3k doesn't set off any alarms. No need to worry.

My first beat

After over a year of getting checks from Bovada, the last check I received from the north was sent to collections. They said up to six weeks. Any general etas on how long this process takes? I use a local credit union.

Someone did post recently that their bank questioned them after they had deposited a lot of max checks(3k). Someone responded saying that's why they always pick a random number to withdraw like 2933. Made sense to me fwiw. You could probably request another check as soon as the first is approved to which only takes a day.

What's the big worry about being reported to the government?

More likely to get audited come tax season, I would imagine. A whole discussion could be had, of course, on whether or not that should worry you.

Even though the checks are made out in use funds, often times they don't have a us routing number. Credit Unions are unable to process checks w/o a us routing number, therefore they send it off to a third party. Its best to take it to a major bank, and it can be processed w/i a couple business days. Usually under 10 from my exp.

Not a big worry at all. GODSTATUS asked at what point of money gets the banks nosey. I was just answering his question. I've never had an issue.

I requested 2 pay outs via visacard method:
4/19- 1,159.30 - approved waiting on funds to hit card -average 10 business days

Rec 4/30 merchant credit

4/23- 1,171.98 - approved waiting on funds to hit card -average 7 business days

Still waiting for funds.

I have no idea why they gave me 2 different time frames for similar amounts and same cashout methods .

4/27- 2,947.91 check requested and approved - average 7 business days
Rec 4/30

Was your last deposit via MG or WU? My current MG withdrawal is taking unusually long time...

max Check Requested 4/27 7pm
Approved 4/27 7:30

Recieved from the north: (never got a tracking number) 4/30

Deposited without incident, funds made available immediately by my bad ass banker

It also helps to sign up for FedEx tracking online and enable sms. I usually get a text the night before delivery.

I used to use solely MG for deposits/withdrawals. But had trouble, ironically with a received payment for something unrelated to Bovada. Last several have been WU

So no one has had success in cashing at a check cashing place? Poo. Looks like I'm gonna have to open a new bank account.

Your other option is to sign it over to someone else that has an account already.

VERY Impressed with Bovada.

This was my first withdrawal ever.

Requested: Tues. 4/29 @ 5:17 PM
Approved: Tues. 4/29 @ 9:42 PM
Check In Hand: Thurs. 5/1 @ 10:09 AM

- Less than 40 Hours from Request to Arrival for my first ever withdrawal
- Fed-Ex delivery. Didn't even have to sign, simply noticed the truck driving away and it was in my mailbox.
- North Check, will update with deposit information

Any doubters out there: Bovada is legit.
