Last week I withdrew a thousand from my account and received the check in two days and deposited and it cleared 3 days ago. Yesterday I requested to withdraw another 1500. Should I wait a while before cashing this next one (to not look suspicious) or should it not matter?

Took out the thousand, made another $2500 in 3 days and didn't want to keep that much in there.

I've gotten about 5-6 checks from Bovada and this last one was requested on 4/16 and received 4/18.
I was literally shocked when Fedex rang my bell. Quickest one yet. No problems when cashing either. although Bels Targo processes international checks quicker than Baby Nederal so I opened an account there

Yes, I also had a check approved on 4/11 and have not yet received it. I have not received tracking information.

I am giving it until Wed before I email them. I'll post again when I receive the check.

Check has not cleared yet. I've had 3 payouts from Bovada. The funds from the two previous were available instantly. It's two and a half weeks now and this one has not cleared. My understanding is that international checks with an 8 character routing number will take longer to clear? My question is basically, what's the norm?

Bank wires seem to take longer than checks, and have more problems associated with them.

ya...tried to cash/deposit mine today and they said it wouldnt read, then said it needs a 9 digit routing number instead of 8, they pretty much called it fake.. not sure what to do

Find a new bank or inquire about speaking with someone at the bank that isnt ignorant about foreign checks like the person that gave you that bad information. Eight digit routing numbers are completely standard in some areas. The check is perfectly fine.

As far as the post to which you replied, I think perhaps he could be stating that Bovada informed him that there was a printing error on the processors end which indeed would make the check invalid and Bovada will simply send him a new check.

Forgive me if I misunderstood either post.

September 2010 and October of 2011 I had checks returned.

I also had a check bounce because of a printing error before. The replacement check came very fast as Bovada was aware of the issue even before the check was deemed invalid by my bank fwiw. I actually had in hand and deposited the new check before the bad one even showed up as bounced.

3k checks, 9.5k bank wires, 2k wu's. Depends on how quick you want the money. I probably wouldn't use WU more than once or twice due to the fees and potential to get blacklisted doing heavy WU withdraws.

Forgive the stupid question, but is fedex the only way they ship checks? I am seldom home to be able to receive and live in an apartment with a lockbox type mail drop so I would prefer to have my check come through the regular mail. Is this an option?

IIRC correctly they won't leave the check, but they will leave a note or whatever, and you can take that and go down to their office or whatever and pick up your check. You could also try contacting bovada for your tracking number, then contacting them with that so you can pick up the check. So try something like that.
