How do you get them to pay out quickly like that?

I've made one MT w/d and received all my information in less than 3 hours. It was pretty nice to get it that quick when the cs lady on the phone said be prepared to wait 5-7 days.

Why does Bodog pay its long time customers so quickly and everyone else so slowly? This is not a good formula for long term survival. Why would anyone new join or a recent customer stay at Bodog?
I would get all your funds out. IMO Bodog will not survive long into 2009 unless this payment situation dramatically improves.

I'm not sure they do. They may well sometimes make a special effort for good customers, but I think it's mostly about what payout method people use.

Well I am in US, last month I did my deposit with MT so I could withdraw & now I am told "Unfortunately you are currently not eligible for any of our withdrawal methods."

You might need to deposit via MT a few more times. I believe they changed their policy to only allow those who have made MT their MAIN deposit option to withdraw via that method. I believe they were forced into this change. As for any issues involving Bodog's payout options; give them a call, be cordial, and see if you can work something out. Calling Bodog typically is the best way to go if you have any questions regarding deposits/payouts on their site.

I am a long time player on the site and, although there has certainly been frustrating times in regards to withdrawals, I have never had a problem and Bodog has always offered at least one reliable method with extremely fast cashouts. Bodog is my preferred site to cash out on and I play on the majority of the US facing sites.

It's important to note that, for newer players, there might be a few hoops to jump through in order to have faster payout options. If you ever have any questions, though, make sure you give them a call and see if they can help you out. Bodog's customer service is great, over the phone.

I have a few grand in future NFL/NCAA Football bets pending on Bodog and about $200 available on an account. Cashed everything else out by check on the 7th of August. Looking forward to getting the check in October.

I thought I would miss Bodog for their soft prop bets on Entertainment stuff but since the new SB lines manager took over a couple months ago their hasn't been much in those categories worth betting. I wonder if this turd will even be offering up juicy Political bets on Senate races this year. I almost don't think they will. Bodog I will miss ya for the tens of thousands of dollars in free monies from those bets.

I feel like at this point I would rather deposit to a sportsbook.com / Jazette book and risk not getting paid out than deposit with Bodog.

OK, so it looks like Bodog could go down for U.S. players. This is my favorite site for tournaments because of the good blind structure. Can anyone recommend another site where the blinds go up fairly slowly in tourneys, like Bodog's?

Finally got my payout today. I requested payouts on 7/1/08 and 8/10/08. Apparently Bodog combined them and issued me 1 check plus added a few pennies to it (for what reason i don't know).
So from 7/1/08 approx 45 business days. Just did another payout 9/1/08, hopefully will come sooner.

i've been on bodog for 4 years and although i was able to click on MT as a payout option, they did NOT grant it. They sent me an e-mail saying will send a check 40 business days blah blah blah... Really disappointing especially for a long time player there and I even took a time to open a Rapid Transfer/MT by depositing that method. I called them on the phone disappointed, but no dice. check only. sigh...

Same here, I even called them to make sure if I deposit using MT I would be able to withdraw using that method and they said yes. When I made the withdrawal, they converted it to a check. I called them again but no luck.

Which method did you deposit with, Rapid or MT?

When did this happen? I withdraw via mt every 5 days and just picked my last one up a couple of days ago. I have never had a problem. When rt went down, my cashout was converted to check but I was able to cancel it, call them on the phone, and get it taken care of.

I have never had a problem. Before, I was putting in probably less than 5k hands a month for the course of 8-10 months. Now that I've picked up to full time again, the last 4 months or so have been 30k hands per month. I didn't have any problems during either period of play.

I've only deposited on Bodog around 3-5 times or so total, with the first being neteller (?), a couple of nucharge, and the last being a rt and mt one around 5 months ago. I've had mt and all other methods available to me the entire time.

The problem is that I have deposited with a credit card in the past, therefore my "primary" withdrawal method according to Bodog is check. For whatever reason they cannot tell me how many MT deposits I will have to make in order for MT to become my "primary" withdrawal method.

Yeah they told me the same thing after I made a miniumum WU deposit. I dep'd close to 10k through ewalletxpress so I figure its worthless to try to make WU my main deposit method.

I heard it was frequency of deposits, not amount. I cannot verify this, though, as Bodog's policy has changed on this recently. It used to be just one deposit. FWIW, I believe it is worth it to jump through the hoops and try a few deposits if you have a location near you to process the transactions. Especially if they have that reload bonus going still.

Once you are set up on Bodog, you will have very quick payout options for up to $18k/month. Anything above $18k/mo may take a little longer. Of course, it's my experience, but I prefer to cashout on Bodog.

I just did a MT transfer over the phone with my card. I hope they will let me withdraw that way now. I have it as a wd options, but when I try it, they send me a check instead and say I have never deposited that way. So I did. I hope it does not matter that I did it over the phone instead of at a b&m place. Hmm. I was planning on going to the local store, because I didn't even know it was an option to send via the phone. I guess I will find out in about 4 days.

You are gonna need to make at least one more deposit via MT. Over the phone is fine.

indeed. this is why bodog is not surviving.

bodog is a complete joke right now. they dont deserve to have any players for the way they are treating them. i have NEVER had a problem, i will admit, in fact things seem to actually be getting better for me. it used to take approx 3-4 days to complete a mt, now it takes 1 day (tho i am always too lazy to go to the wu on day 1, so i usually wait till the next day). however, allowing real customers "no w/d options" is utterly ludicrous. of course, they are probably getting the most heat from us gov't of any us poker site. too bad ayre needed to flip the feds the bird so much. bodog software is horrible, and bodog w/d is now horrible. look elsewhere imho. the funniest part for me is that i have moved all my play over to the cheaters at absolute, and i feel much better, which is pretty ridic.

people mover and the other regs: so tardo that they wont pay you via wu. complete joke.

edit: i said "complete joke" 2x.

Well, I just called BoDog (who by the way has great customer service) because I wanted to know about the payout methods my account was able to use.. I deposited by WU so I asked if payouts through WU were accepted right now. And he told me that WU decided to stop payouts through BoDog, which he says has happened numerous times and that because of US laws their payout methods are being affected.
But apparently he said that WU does this from time to time, and since NFL season is coming up BoDog is working on many quick easy methods for the demand of their customers. And since football season is their big season they are working around the clock to get their customer's money to them in the quickest easiest way. He also said that he has been hearing people in the office say that WU is coming back soon, so dont worry about MT being disabled for much longer.

For those of you looking to get your cash out quick because you think that BoDog is going under or something, you have NOTHING to worry about. There is no way that this billion dollar company is just going to go under out of no where over night, lol.

Just be patient and wait for another method besides the check payout method to come out, thats what I am going to do and I hope it pays off.

I also asked him about the BoDog debit card they use to give out, and apparently the company that was distributing these stopped doing business with BoDog due to US laws..

Anyway, I hope this helps some of you that are scared about getting your cash out.

- Dennis
