When doing wire transfer, do we list the address of the local branch of the bank or the main headquarter? Thanks in advance!

Legit dumb question but how do you know if a check clears?

You dont.

But generally, the vast majority of checks that will bounce will do so in the first week.

If its two weeks cleared its almost always good.

I have heard of checks bouncing like a month later but thats really an aberration.

Id suggest that if you really really need the money give it a week. If you dont then give it two.

I am waiting on a WU payout that was processed on Feb 20th and this morning got an interesting email from Bovada that says there is a delay with it and they don't know what the timeframe is. If I call them up I can change to either check or credit card payout (the latter of which has not been an option for me previously). It seemed like a form email they sent out to a lot of people. Anybody else get this?

Requested a WU $2000 payout on 2/25, got this same email this morning. The credit card payout has just appeared as well.

This is the last time I'm doing a WU. Hardly faster than a check. If I'm going to be paying $200 in fees I expect rapid service.
Still waiting on this. Emailed/called multiple times and keep getting the same generic response that 1-3day timeframe is only an estimate and it is processed in the order received, which is a huge crock of sh-t as my buddy was approved on the 22nd and got it on the 24th.

My MG was just as quick. As Ive read through this thread Im surprised more people dont cashout this way. Or maybe they do and just not posting on here. Also I know the amount you can cash out is less than 1K but its still cheaper and quicker. At the very least you should deposit by WU and MG at least once so you have those options.

If MG had a significantly higher limit it would be the perfect method. 800/wk is a very tiny amount.

As it stands right now the fees on WU are ridiculous, especially given that its slower than checks now.

Anyone withdraw recently using the credit card method? If so, how long did it take to receive your funds.

thanks

A $500 MG would cost $45.

If you'll list headquarter's address bovada will still ask you to provide your local branch's address.
For instance in my case i checked wire instructions for my Bells Cargo bank and it stated to input their headquarters's address. I did so and Bovada requested me to provide my local branch.
I still have problem with my bank wire since January 5th and I think it's because of this.
Bovada is really slow on resolving their bank wire issues.
I would really suggest you requesting check even if you have more than 3k. Just request several of those

For the most part Bovada has been good for payouts with me. I recently moved to another state and cashed out for $2000 and knowing I live in a small town with 1 bank I knew this check from north was going to be an issue. The old teller spotted the issue quickly. I took the check to the next biggest town 30 miles up the road and was the same bank. Just wanted to deposit the check. Another old teller spotted the problem right away. Not enough routing numbers. Had to send check to collections. Hard telling how long this will take. The other state I lived in had larger banks and check deposit ATM's and was never an issue. They grilled me good but whatever, it is what it is. 1st bank said it would take a week and other bank said 2 to 3 weeks with heavy fees attached to it. I did take the check to an ACE and the gal looks at it and says " Oh, this is from overseas " lol overseas really?

I use a credit union and they wanted to charge around $100 in fees to cash a check from Canada. Ended up opening an account at bells cargo and the check cleared in 2 days and they charged me $5

In general I find only the East checks work through the atm and the North ones do not. I have often seen through personal experience and staking that often with newer accounts or banks where gambling isnt going on as much that some banks are really hard with checks. When they put the checks on hold usually you will see them hit your bank after some time. I wouldn't be too alarmed. I think its standard protocol for a lot of banks with 'questionable' checks.
