Well you are being a dick and you need to stay out of it...fact of the matter is that someone requested a check after me and had received it.

Also I have requested many checks from bovada in the past and after 7 days I was gaurenteed to either have check in hand or a tracking number.

I hear you man im waiting too but have any of you actually got your check in hand before bovada sent u a tracking number? Im sure thats common as they do them in batches. I got my check from sportsbook.ag then i got my tracking

can't you read-morphy clearly said the dhl guy would be using the money to buy his kids Christmas presents which makes this legal.

lots of banks already don't let people endorse checks over to other people.
even if they do let people endorse checks to someone else they are a lot less likely with international checks.
to top it off your friend is just asking for a potential headache, since while these checks don't bounce all the time they bounce a hell of a lot more often than regular checks, and they won't actually bounce for weeks which can really screw his account/bills up. and this is assuming you pay him back in the event it bounces.

if a bank is actually willing to cash an international check for someone the check wasn't even initially made out to, why don't you just open an account with them?


also to the people whining when a check takes a week or 2 to come bc they've been coming quicker of late- stop being so ridiculous and be glad they are coming extremely quick most of the time. i don't know which is worse, these whiners or the people making their "how is i deposit check" or "should i tell them it's from online gambling if they ask what its for" posts.

would you prefer they go back to taking several months or you have to sell the bodog money at a discount to other people to get the money off?it's not bodogs fault our govt is trash.

Well. After going to the credit union the day after this post and them sending it off to collections they took $20 for a processing fee and I just got the deposit in my account today. Will have to find another bank just for online poker deposits after this. Not taking another chance.

Agreed...I was just simply asking a question if there has been a change recently...as of a couple of months ago I would actually receive a check in under a week...I ahve also been a supporter of bovada for about a year now...since I am a financial analyst I was simply analyzing a trend that I have been seeing in Bovada also that goes along with the recent news(which im not to worried about)....but as usual the 2p2 thugs such as MacaoBound had to come out

When I said "guaranteed" it didn't mean they guaranteed it, that was just my usual time frame....two checks i have requested from them I received within 3 days of being approved
