I've never had a WU withdrawl take longer than 4 days from request to cash in hand until now. Requested 8/18, approved 8/20, but no mtcn # yet. Not really worried, just wanted you and others to know, it appears that WU cashouts could be slowing down a bit.

Yes, I called today. The customer support lady looked at my account and said that it could be tomorrow or as late as Thursday.

How quickly are the Moneygram withdrawals taking? I cashed out via Western Union a couple of weeks ago, but decided to switch it up with their recent increase in fees.

I just did a Moneygram rapid transfer:

Aug 26th 11am - Requested

Aug 26th 1130pm - Approved

Aug 27th 430pm - Reference # email. (avail for pickup)

Just under 30 hours total. Not bad at all, but seeing some of these 6-9 days checks coming through that might be the way to go if you have a bank account and wanna avoid the fees. $60 for a max withdrawal using Moneygram.

Since I do not have a bank account & I want to avoid paying the ridiculous WU fees by receiving a check, customer support told me to just endorse the check to a family member and deposit it.
Has anyone ever endorsed a check from Bovada to someone else successfully? Anyone have any thoughts on if this will work, or foresee any problems I might run into trying to do this? I will be trying to endorse it to my father and deposit at teedee

I've done this with Bovada checks at least 3 times.
The last one being around March of this year.

I've never had any problems, but the bank account was with someone I lived with and shared the same address with (girlfriend) not sure if that matters, as she nor I have never had to show ID.

We also have different last names so it's probably even more of a non-issue that your using your father (assuming same last name)

Have done it with checks coming from the far east and from up north.

Hope this helps.

I requested Check withdrawal on 8/23.

It is my first payout and Free fee payout.

Which method will bring to me Fedex or Regular USPS?

Thanks

I requested a cashout by Western Union on Saturday. I still haven't received the details for payout. Anyone know why its taking so long?

Probably won't be an issue as long as that person has a longstanding history with that bank. I wouldn't try this on any newer accounts.

New fees on WU cashouts are ridiculous. Bovada needs to stop screwing players.

1) They can charge whatever fee they want. The beauty of a market concept. If you hate the price, use something else.

2) They're likely raising fees in response to the problems that have been arising with too many people using WU and/or getting banned from WU. This move will discourage WU and encourage checks.

I've made approx. 8 cashouts with WU in the last 18 months and each one took less than 5 days until cash in hand. Im currently on my 10th day waiting for my current WU cashout. Because they have been sooooo fast with cashouts in the past we [I] have come to expect the speediness everytime, but in the current state of online poker for USA players I think we should be happy that bovada is such a stand-up company and just accept that our cashouts are not going to be fast everytime. Gl on us getting our WU $$ soon.

They are probably dealing with a record number of WU cashouts now and they can't process this many in this short of time.
