ya i called them and got locations and the places they give dont sell them anymore because of law change.

the card packaging usually will say "no international transfers" the few i found that did not state this ended up still not allowing them.

Can anyone ITT verify that they have received a free Western Union cash pickup as a withdrawal method? It seems that I have heard that some have received a freebie once a month and yet when I spoke with Bovada support they indicated that it was not the case.

Anyone?

I think the only players that receive a freebie are the ones which dont have a check by courier option.. or so i have read in the past

I would actually say that is some runbad. I requested 4 checks and never once have waited that long to receive.

Thank you, sir! I've gotten 2 checks in a month and a half. It feels great to not wait 6 months for 1.

WU payouts for me have been ridiculously slow, used to take 2-3 days now its taking over 10. and yes the only reason im complaining is my max withdrawal each time is 2k.

Was wondering about this. First several WU payouts were 24-48 hrs from request to CIH. Current request wasn't reviewed in the 48hr window and still shows pending. Requested Sunday. . .

Just so everyone knows that the reason the WU payouts have been slow might be what has happened to me.

I requested my 5th Max WU payout in the last 2 months 12 days ago and just finally got off the phone with Bovada and they told me that WU has detected that I am getting money from a gambling site and thus will not process anymore transfers in my name. They removed the MG and WU payout and deposit options from me and now I am only able to use check and wire. The money is supposed to go back into my account in the next 24-48 hours...

I guess this has all been too good to be true with Bovada and the speed of payouts

Anybody know anything about the WU black list? Heard any transfer over $1K is flagged and then if there is a pattern, you get black-listed. Anyone have a long history of WU transfers that can confirm or deny?

Can anyone who banks with a local based credit union tell me their experiences lately with cashing Bovada checks (and in each case if the check was from far NORTH or far EAST) and if they did it by drive through or inside.

I cashed one from the far NORTH with my credit union last year and was interrogated by the risk department manager for half an hour before being let to deposit it, charged a collections fee, told if it bounced they would press charges on me and then the check took over 3 months to clear.

So I want to tread carefully and hear others more recent experiences in similar situations before proceeding with more cashouts. REALLY don't want to have to pay those hefty fees for withdrawing by WU or MG if at all possible.

Why would you ever give this bank your business?

It is better to use mainstream long standing banks than isolated small uptight credit unions imo in regards to online gaming...

But it's better to use small credit unions than mainstream banks in almost everything else. And I had zero problems with my credit union, using their app to deposit my check from the East.

Actually the reverse but whatever (back when checks weren't coming from up north). Bigger banks are better equipped to handle the truly foreign checks.

Others have posted in the thread getting blacklisted by WU as well. Its probably best for us to take turns using WU,MG and check. Ive been rotating among the 3 options for awhile now and haven't had any trouble.

**note: You have to dep with WU and MG to be able to use them for cashouts.

They can do this? Really? Do u still have an account there? I'm also curious what u told them the check was from and how much it was.

This is exactly my point. Obv credit unions give better rates and less fees for normal services.

Keep a Credit Union account for normal life, setup at a big bank for online gaming. win/win

You dont have to deposit WU to cashout that way. I have done quite a few and used CC to deposit.

So why do some get blacklisted from WU and some don't?

I'm waiting on a 3rd one for 1K in less than 2 months.

Now I'm starting to worry.

I contacted Bovada about this problem. They want me to go into the bank and if they will not accept it to send them a jpeg of what the bank provides me with reason for declining the check. I have explained to Bovada that I have an "e-banking" account. I cannot use the tellers or they charge me like $13 bucks or something stupid like that. Granted, this is all for a $50 check. I responded to Bovada stating they need to send me a check like the previous check they sent, which I had no problem depositing.

I just send that message to them today. I am awaiting a response. Too much of a hassle for a $50 check! Not sure if I will continue to play and bet on this site after this mess.
Really? You cashed out for $50? I think the processing fee is $50.

How much did you start with? Didn't you have to pay 5% in deposit fee? In addition to your bank charging you fees for international charges?

This guy is unreal.
