I can't give you a definitive answer, but no, you don't need two accounts.
It's something about a foreign bank wire, sometimes (or always, I'm not sure) it has to go through an intermediary bank (It may depend on the bank). Your bank should be able to tell you and give you the details.
I could be wrong, but I think that's the explanation.

Check Withdrawal:

Req: 7/12
Rec: 7/17

Deposited in ATM and it was rejected, took it to the teller and was able to deposit it no questions asked. Check was from up north. Had one before this from the east which went into the ATM and funds were available next day. Assuming the same should be the case with this check but we shall see.

Anyone know why I am not able to deposit onto this site? I have tried visa check card and visa gift card(which they recommended to me as an option). Both were declined. So i tried to deposit onto carbon poker and no problems at all. I am from minnesota if that means anything. thanks

Probably has to do with the processor they are using and your card.

I know my card works on Bovada but on Carbon Poker it gets declined every time so I'm having same issue just opposite sites.

This was as of six months ago when I last tried to put money on either site.

The first few times I depo'd on Bovada I had to call my bank and have them unblock Hong Kong. They do a 24 hour unblock on certain countries.

This works. Just call your bank and ask them to enable international transactions.

I know the max cashout for a check is 3k, but if I want to cashout more will they process another check? For example, If I want to take out 6k, will they process two 3k checks or do I have to request 3k and then wait for it to be approved and then request another check?

what type of fees are people getting when depositing checks in banks?
I assume no fee from Bovada ( for 1st check only per month?) but the bank may give you a fee for depositing it?

and just curious., why should we not post bank names?

Among other reasons, it is against the law for US banks to knowingly accept gambling transactions.

Getting tired of these checks from the North. They aren't accepted by the ATM, they incur a $10 fee and there is a hold placed on the funds. I greatly prefer the checks from the East... no fee and immediately accepted by the ATM with no hold. Although I prefer both to anything offered by the competition in today's market.

Some are reporting $10 fees. I've never got one before.

ok that makes sense, but then why is it ok for people to mention them in the p2p transfer thread where I have seen people ask for boa for x etc?

My bank (the bank of our country) charges me 0.25 for Canadian checks and the funds are always released the next day.

I think Bells Smargo often will send foreign checks to collections and charge fee. I dumped them.

This is exactly what my bank does although it is not Bells Smargo. To the posters above, are the checks that are available the next day Bovada checks coming from the North? If so, may I ask which bank?
