Well, I've never been one to try and dodge taxes, but in the past I've only deposited maybe 500-600 over one full year. Obviously if my bank were to start flying accusations I'd say I planned on reporting the income.

I personally deposit Bovada checks in my credit union account. I also have a bank account. Both accounts have been active for many years (okay, decades, but I'm old -- what can I say), so I am a veteran customer. Consequently, I assume I would have less explaining when a check bounces. I have never had a check bounce (one that I've written or deposited). Frankly, it is annoying having to be concerned in that way. I deposited my last check on Friday the 30th and haven't heard anything yet. I figure 2 more weeks and I'll be home free.
I guess it is just a different world now regarding online poker and the uncertainty just comes with the territory.

Yeah this whole process is so painful and I'm the type to really worry a lot so I'm done with online poker after this whole thing is over.
My plan of action at this point is to scan the letter my bank sent me (they did not send me the check. Said I could have my check back with some explaining) and also take screen shots of my online bank statements showing the bouncing and my overdraft/credit line fees involved. I've seen others in the thread say bovada isn't happy until they get everything and then some, so I'm kinda worried about that, but I guess I'll post an update to see if I actually get away with not sending in a copy of the rejected check with an 'official statement of rejection'
My poker buddy just got back from california and wanted to hang and play some live poker during the holiday season. Can you say worst timing ever?
