rec 2/7
app 2/9

no check no tracking info..which is sucks but understandable in this current environment for US players. what discourages me is that on 2/29 the customer support told me it was at a local fedex but he did not have the tracking information to give me; which obv made zero sense. then for several day afterwards they kept leading me on saying it would be delivered that day. finally this morning 3/6 they said that i have waited long enough, and they would have their payment dept look into it and they will email me..

i guess my point is that i feel they are just handling the slow payouts in an unprofessional manner

I called Bovada, and they said that banking through Canada is not an option. In fact, you are not even allowed to play from Canada.

They basically told me that beyond getting the checks, there is no way to get money off their site.

So it seems that playing mid-high on Bovada makes very little sense right now unless you are happy getting only limited numbers of checks.

you can play from Canada, you can move to Canada, get a bank account/Moneybookers set up...they don't know wtf they're talking about

(Maybe it has something to do with Bovada vs Bodog name brand, but they do service Canadian players in some way)

Check requested 1/5.

Received check 1/24.

Deposited check at credit union Jan 24. Lady said she was putting a 30 day hold on the check and it might take 6-8 weeks to go through (Lady also asked me questions on how I got this check, I told her affiliate gaming).

Currently 3/6 and funds still not available in my account.

Is this a lost cause should I just cancel the check that Bodog sent and go through a larger bank?

I'm assuming when they say 30 days.. they meant 30 business days. Today is business day 29. I'd wait another few days and then call your CU.

think it's time you go to a bigger bank.

For god sakes, put it in an envelope and stick it in your ATM - everybody attempts to make this harder than it should be. Do you really think Walmart is going 2 know what to do with this type of check?

That's honestly a really bad idea...if it bounces they're going to be a lot more pissed off than your bank. They may even contact the police.

Wal-Mart isn't supposed to cash anything but payroll/government checks. You might find somebody dumb enough to do it, but I do not recommend it.

^^ +1 Just drop it in your bank account or ATM if your that nervous. Walmart will fry your ass if the check bounces and it can be a felony if it's over a certain amount.

I thought it was only a crime to write a bad check, not cash one??

^^ Walmart wouldn't know if it's a bad check by no fault of your own or something you printed on your PC, they treat them all the same. That's why most places that cash checks require a finger print.

It has now been 36 hours since I requested my check and it still had not been approved. Has it been taking anyone else over the quoted 24 hours to have thier checks approved.
