Been away for a few months, apologies in advance if this has been covered.

Simple question from reading over the last few pages... it would seem that bitpay card now charges a fee to load transferred bitcoin from, say, blockchain to bitpay card?

Last time I did this (and every time before) there was no fee (except the standard miner's fee associated with the transaction).

Requested btc 11/30

Still not received...

They claim to process “in the order that they are received”

Anyone have a withdrawal initiated after 11/30 and already processed?

On a side note bitcoin price has gone from 9100 when I initiated request to now 11500... so ya a very strategic time to hold off on a withdrawal

On a second side note I’ve had multiple withdrawals processed in 1-2 hours from initial request time...

Req: 12/03 @ ~1pm
Rec: 12/04 @ ~2am

Low 4 figs. I was surprised to see it had gone through over night given what I had read here and their "48 hr Review" notice.

This used to happen with checks all the time too back on Bov. I'd sometimes be waiting 2, 3, or 4 weeks after confirmation of check approval while some folks would have theirs in like 3 or 4 business days while I was still on like week 3 of waiting. But sometimes I was that person getting the max check in a few business days while others were on their 2nd or 3rd week of waiting.

Honestly not sure there's any rhyme or reason to their withdrawal methodology (other than red flags) .. it literally may just be incredibly dysfunctional and unorganized. I gave up a long time ago trying to figure out any possible patterns.

Did you use the proper fee? Generally that’s the cause for extremely long wait times when the Blockchain isn’t extremely backlogged

i solved it, jus send with custom fee, as low as you want, dont be in a hurry to get it. i deposit 50 to bovada, less than a dollar fee, received it right away, i wouldve been ok with it taking 24 hrs

Requested 12/03
Processed and sent 12/06 5:00AM.

I haven't received the bitcoins yet about 36 hours later. I contacted them yesterday since I had never had bitcoins take longer than an hour and they said it hadn't been confirmed yet (in the blockchain) and should be expected by the end of the day. Is this standard? I'm a total noob with BTC and how it works, but it seems like the speed it gets confirmed and processed is dependent on the fee associated with the transaction. So is Bovada trying to send the BTC with little to no fee and if so, is it possible to tell them I'm ok paying a slightly higher fee to receive my BTC faster (assuming this is how it would actually work)? What is the longest it has taken someone to receive BTC from the time the withdrawal was processed?

I do believe he means he hasn’t received it yet after it was processed.

Anybody else having troubles depositing to Bovada ( went through but never confirmed ) and transferring to Bit pay. I went with standard Miner fees and none have confirmations in around 24 hours.

I'm having a similar issue with withdrawing. Bitcoin transaction went through but has not been confirmed two days later (unheard of for me, but apparently not that uncommon). I can see the transaction at blockchain.info/(btc address) so I at least know it was sent two days ago and waiting on confirmation.

Perhaps "standard" mining fees are a little too cheap for quick confirm? Ideally you could choose the fee amount..you might be willing to wait a while for min fee and some times just pay the 5 bucks to get it asap, etc.

In theory it is possible for a transaction to never be confirmed, although probably unlikely since I'm guessing we would hear about it more.
