Btw. Have used exclusively bitcoin wd's only for last 20 or so wd's. Been perfect for me everytime.

Can anyone help a bitcoin noob?

I deposited via debit card and would like to cash out a bit. There's a ton of information available and I could go with one but figured I'd ask for recommendations here.

Starting with this post I went through the process with screenshots showing how to cash out with Coinbase to your bank account:

Ignition -> Your Bitcoin Wallet -> Coinbase -> Your Bank

So ppl know what may or may not be going on in regards to withdrawals. The title of the thread is "Bovada/Ignition payout thread for US players". Literally what else would you post in here? This thread is incredibly helpful to a lot of folks who don't really even post (or post regularly).

As US online poker players, we're the least of anyone's priorities. We really only have ourselves to help each other out with information sharing. I can personally say that w/o this thread and the ability to see what's going on with withdrawals/BTC I seriously doubt I'd still be playing.

Keep on posting those withdrawal statuses.

wat? bovada has never had a reputation for being anything other than prompt and reliable about withdrawals. BTC takes up to 48 hrs to process, i'm not sure i've ever had to wait longer than that and sometimes it's within an hour or two that it hits my blockchain. this thread really is for people having *issues* with withdrawals, limits, customer support, whatever else.

if there was any problem or legit concern with ignition not honoring peoples withdrawals, or being chronically late, people would be in here raising hell and you'd most definitely know about it- we dont need every player on the network informing us that they started a withdrawal and *OMG FINGERS CROSSED THAT IT MIGHT SHOW UP*

relax a bit, you can be confident that you'll get BTC to your blockchain within the expected time frame that they specify

I'd say it helps to continue to assure people in these uncertain times in US online poker. It literally hurts nothing for people to continue to update this thread.

I know I personally check in to see if there are any delays in withdrawals or if they are continuing as they have recently.

zero point in saying you requested a withdrawal. That doesn't give a timeline for how long withdrawals are taking. It gives zero information. If you want to give a timeline wait until you receive the withdrawal and post your requested and received dates.

Possible, but not probable once they realize it's a foreign check. Most sites state deposit in bank. If it bounces, you'll likely be made whole by the site.

While the derail was a little silly, he and others are right in that posting that you've withdrawn money is rather useless information. What should/could have been one post:

Ok, I have never used bitcoin for anything, but from what I have read some things sound like they don't add up. I hear alot of people say that blockchain does not allow BTCs coming directly from a gambling site and will block your acct and shut it down if they find out.
However, I see alot of people post this...
Ignition -> Your Bitcoin Wallet -> Coinbase -> Your Bank

So, is "Your Bitcoin Wallet" the same as blockchain? And if so, why does it seem some people say be careful about going directly between poker site and block chain, then some are saying the above mentioned?

EDIT: Or does it depend wether it is a deposit/withdrawl? I would only be withdrawing via bitcoin
