a 'bitcoin wallet' is a software program that stores and manages your bitcoin addresses. Armory and blockchain.info are examples of personal wallet software program to store and use your own bitcoins. Circle and Coinbase are businesses - bitcoin brokers. they are companies that help you buy and sell bitcoin. they also provide some wallet software. but they hold and manage your bitcoins.

so we recommend you hold your own bitcoins. use armory or blockchain.info, or a wallet on your phone (breadwallet or mycelium). you can then never have to send from the place you buy/sell the coins directly to a website. you can always then send it to yourself once (or twice) if you want.

is there a way to load/unload funds from a personal wallet without linking to a bank account? can armory and blockchain be linked to skrill/neteller?

Has anyone withdrawn around $40k off Bovada? What would be the safest route for me to withdraw this amount in consideration of the banks + government. I have already used BTC on Thursday for $9.5k (already transferred to my VISA) and had a check processed for $3k (en route now). I am paranoid to move anymore money this month. Any advice/help/past experiences would be extremely helpful.

Yeah I'm wondering that myself since poker doesn't exist at Bovada any longer. I used to use their sportsbook but they will limit your bets to $50 if you have a clue. I'm thinking he got lucky at the casino? But that casino is rigged so I would also like to know what he plays.

I've gotten 50k+ off of bitcoin around 6-8 weeks. I requested every two weeks in structured amounts 9500 - 5500 - 8500 - 7500...etc I only deposited with bitcoin twice before I did any withdrawals. Both were for 10$ (the first $10 wasn't enough).

I think people get in trouble when they do the same bitcoin amounts $100 every time or 5k every time. Or when people deposit too much.

I am not going to deposit again with bitcoin. I will pay the credit card fee. I do not want to mess up being able to take out large funds over a short period of time.

I also plan on paying taxes on my money, so not worried about hiding from the government.
I get the money sent to the bank and have not received any complaints on either side.
My bitcoin deposit did fail one time from circle to my bank and I was kind of freaking out, but just rerequested it and it went right through.

I am thinking of doing this myself. Withdraw a random amount between $5-9k every 2 weeks using Bovada -> BlockChain -> Circle -> VISA.

Should that be OK?

I can alternate between Circle/Coinbase as well.

Not sure about the visa, but worked for me doing bovada-blockchain-circle every time.

Where did you send the funds to from Circle?

Anyone else with experience on successfully withdrawing $40k off Bovada?

Thx!!

I was coming to the thread to check payout times. I just turned $150 casino into $1800. I got extremely lucky, but I noticed that you have to play the casino a certain way to max out your bonus.

You sit at a table with all of your "real" money. You sit in the casino with you "bonus" money and every time you win a hand they release between a $1-2. Keep switching tables and collecting that $1-2 every hand. I won my casino bonus, but if I didn't I would have picked up $50-$100 in the $1-$2 releases. If you don't collect the $1-2 every hand and lose or start losing they will give you little to nothing.

Meh. There are several posts that bovada/ignition considers this cheating since you are freerolling them. Basically they will lock your account.

-Banks may have a problem with this since they are worried about money laundering. The government is more tolerant especially if you are paying your taxes.

- Are you cashing out since you are worried about the site? If so you can just leave your btc in your wallet and cashout some amount to circle every few weeks. However you are going to be exposed to btc price fluctuations.

- I have multiple wallets and use coinbase/circle and multiple bank accounts. Also I have the same set up for my wife. So I use a different combination every time I cash out.

How are you freerolling them, when the money that you are getting is bonus money they are releasing from your play.

You locked up your real money at the poker table. You are gambling in the casino with only the casino bonus money. So if you go broke in the casino without meeting the rollover requirements, you've never lost any of your real money. Isn't that the definition of a free roll?

There are several posts in the other bovada/ignition thread about this. Post in that thread if you want to discuss it further.

Getting an "unrecognized error occurred" when trying to deposit on Ignition. Anyone having the same issues?

There is a BTC network type issue where 50,000 transactions are backed up/unconfirmed. Here's to hoping Bovada puts large enough miner fees on their payouts. Otherwise payouts may get stuck in limbo.

How does the BTC current price play in, do they mark the time when you made with withdawl and give you current market price, or do they use whatever amount of btc when they actually send it ? This is kind of important.
