I live in Maryland. Bodog tells me that I can not get my payout this month.

This is the first time I have problem with Bodog payout. It can not send me a check or use money transfer. It told me that it can not send me money via Western Union. Somehow, my name is blocked at Western Union. WTF. I have never used WU in my whole life.

The only way for me to get payout is ask someone else to pick up my money. Basically, Bodog will send money to that person via WU. Then I get money from that person.


Anyone else have such problem?

As long as you receive your w/d in cash, don't give them your ssn, and don't deposit into a bank, I see no way the irs knows you received the money.

I WISH I could have someone else pick up my money. Instead, I either have to wait 8 weeks (or more likely more), for a check, or keep PUTTING MONEY IN to bodog in hopes that they open the w/d method for me. Yea, blah blah, I am stupid, why haven't I got the w/d method open already. Well, you see, up until a month or two ago, I could cash out as much as I liked through a debit card. Blah blah, hoot hoot. I would LOVE to be able to have someone else pick up my money. At least I could get it. If I were you, I would go for it. Surely, you know SOMEONE? Sure as hell beats not getting it.

Yeah this is absolutely ridiculous and ludicrous - on AVERAGE 40 business days! Not 40 days but 40 BUSINESS days! This is absolutely ****ing inane.

Just got off the phone with bodog, they are saying they will have some way to withdrawal must faster then checks very soon. Probably just blowing smoke up my a$$.

I'm not even going to attempt a check withdrawal at the moment.

Called Bodog yesterday regarding my check requested on July 2. The gal said they lost a processor so checks are delayed for another 40 days. Go figure.

Maybe Bodog does read this thread. My 6/9 withdrawal finally complete. Received 2 checks in 2 days.

July 5 withdrawl ....still waiting.. My latest queries have gone with out response.

Sounds like you are on someone's bad list and it probably has nothing to do with online poker.

I suggest that people in this forum think twice before volunteering to help out a total stranger. This poster may be the legal equivalent of radioactive man.

It's also possible that the money isn't even coming from Bodog and this is a scam to get innocent people to help launder money.

Eh, just got a check requested 6/18/2008 early this month.

I'm sure feds know what Money Transfer is, its the specifics of what processors are on the endpoints that they wouldn't know, so think people need to calm down or whatever.

Hope this new options opens up soon, getting antsy cause I have too much money on bodog.

Bodog needs an option to fly to wherever they're based and walk away with a briefcase full of money.

Unfortunately "feds" don't find much time for God's work. God always finds a way, however, and he guided me to 2+2 where I found out about "Money Transfer" and "Rapid Transfer." We didn't need any seizure warrants: it only took a few phone calls to get them to stop gambling payments. Businessmen always seem willing to help with God's work. I hope it's because they fear God, but, if not, I'm content that they fear James Dobson.

So you want to hurt Bodog by not allowing people to get their money, so Bodog keeps it all...brilliant.

Talked to bodog today, they said a new faster and easier processor will be coming within the next month... SO DO NOT REQUEST CHECKS FOR PAYOUTS

But will we have to re-deposit 3 times that way to withdraw once?
It is like those of us who don't go broke & have only deposited once when we opened the account are punished.

The person I spoke to seemed like she was afraid to talk to me but I requested $1,000 through Western Union Money Transfer. She gave me a heads-up that it might possibly or not go through since I did deposit money through Bodog in the amount of $200 in July. I'll update you in 24 hours regarding that

She did say that if it doesn't go through, the check by courier will take 40 business days. I asked if it that was a guarantee time and she said yes. Next time I should record that.

She also said Bodog is trying to create a different method for payout.

Why would it not go through again? Did you deposit via MT in July?

Well she might tell you that, but the truth is she is probably underestimating the time in which it will actually take. And if it does take over 40 bus. days (which it probably will), then a recorded convo of a rep saying that probably won't do much good anyways. Good luck to you.
