How have wire transfer withdrawals been going? Are they safe? Timeframe? Help appreciated.

I've been playing Bovada for a while and started playing on Ignition when the change happened. I made my first attempt at a withdrawal with ignition and so far I have to say not happy at all. I requested a payout almost 3 weeks ago and still not even a a tracking number. I contacted Ignition and they keep saying it takes up to 10 business days before you receive your payout....today is day 12 and still nothing. As a poker player(small stakes) waiting close to 3 weeks with no end in sight is pretty disheartening. I understand they want players to start using Bitcoin but dont punish the players that are requesting checks in the meantime.

Heather, if fast payouts are important to you bitcoin is the way to go, as stated in the email.

First BTC withdrawal test for $100 a few hours ago.

I tried to follow the instructions in previous posts, hope so.

I sent ignition to Blockchain, that was completed within 3 hours. Now sending from Blockchain to Coinbase. Been waiting for about an hour and it said it would only be ~20 min. Not really in a hurry but looks good so far.

We will have to see what the cost is going from coinbase to bank account.

BTC Question:

Received BitPay Card this afternoon (yay!) - Withdrew $225.00 from Ign @ 3pm MST, it was received in Blockchain @ 4:50pm (yay!)

Upon "receipt" of BTC in blockchain from Ign, I immediately generated an address from my newly activated BitPay card to move the money (the BTC market is in a bit of a dive atm and I tried to immediately reduce my exposure, used fee that put the transaction in the ~10 min/Next transaction block).

Of course, the problem here (I think?) is that there were no confirmations for the
Ign --> Blockchain transaction before I made the transaction from Blockchain --> BitPay card (did so within 15 minutes of receipt - about 15 minutes ago).

Both transactions currently show as pending/unconfirmed and BitPay doesn't show a single thing except to say that I have not made any transactions yet.

Do I have any options here? Obv I would like to "pull back" the transaction from Blckchain to BitPay but IDK if that's even possible.

Can anyone clarify the status of my situation and identify what is going to happen if the status quo remains unchanged? Additionally, per the above, can anyone provide any options to reverse or otherwise stop the second transaction.

Per the last post.. Update: by 5:45 MST (~45 min after received from Ign) the transaction from Ign --> Blockchain was no longer showing as pending, however, the "erroneous" transaction from Blockchain to BitPay Card (made prior to confirmation) is obv still showing as pending.

No, that's not possible. Bitcoin transactions aren't reversible.

Looks like everything is good and it should confirm soon... depending on the fee you used.

I'm not sure what the max time window is that Bitpay allows, but assuming it goes through soon the exchange rate should be locked in from the time that you sent the transaction.

First requested btc withdrawal took ~ 5 hours to go through and hit my wallet, still waiting on the second one to go through.

Bovada sent the fastest Withdrawal I think I've received since neteller was still in the US. Just a number of hours. 3 Figures via bitcoin.

Yea, it's good - it all went through! Shortly after the Ign->Blck conf the 3 confirmations needed for the premature transaction to the card went through - funds on card!

Btw I believe you were correct - despite the fluctuations, I received the exact amount of the transaction at the time it was prematurely sent. I know I read in this thread a month+ ago that someone had prematurely sent a transaction prior to confirmations and they said they had to wait a few days to get the funds - I believe that was a larger amount but I thought I may had possibly made a royal error here... so I guess it's NOT a big deal to send a transaction prior to confirmations coming through on the initial transaction??

Yep, that's why I'm trying to help spread the word and let people know it exists. I think bitcoin becoming a known option will help grow the game and bring back more players.

If you know people that were turned off of online poker by months of waiting for foreign checks that could bounce, make sure to tell them that there is a method now to get cash in hand within hours.

The outgoing transaction can be sent before the incoming transaction confirms... but the first one has to confirm before the second one will. The problem like the one you mention above would come up if the first transaction from Ignition was screwed up and took a long time to confirm.

Bitpay locks in the exchange rate at the time you send to the card, but I'm not sure how long they give you. Leaving that time window open for a day or more seems like it would open themselves up to getting freerolled.

So if you want to keep it simple I would say to wait when sending to your Bitpay card. Sending to your exchange doesn't have the same issue with the exchange rate... so that would be fine to do right away.

People getting BTC withdrawals within hours on Ignition... when you request it, does it still say it will be reviewed in 48 hrs?

Also, is the money supposed to stay in my account after i request a withdrawal? Seems weird.
