When i spoke to someone at bovada they said they were working on PTP transfer, so idk if its a 0% chance that it happens. Its a possibility

I haven't tried it yet, but I talked to VIP support and they say they process it like a return. Like if you did a store return, etc. Doesn't work on netspend or prepaid cards but they said it would work on my Debit card. Will post as soon as I try it.

I kind of just went through this. I had never had an issue depositing checks on C*A*E, but i deposited two checks on back to back days.

The second check has been sent to collections, the reason being that anytime its an international check, the bank makes the money available but only up to $5,000 every two weeks.

Both checks combined were over that amount, therefore the second check was sent to collections...They say it make take up to 3 weeks, but they would refund me the $45 fee, since i should have been advised of this when i was making the deposit.

Apparently my bank will send the check to the bank who issued the check and request for them to wire my bank the money.

Kind of confusion and annoying, but they said I can just deposit one check in checking and another one in savings in order to avoid hitting the $5k limit...

I have heard that PTP is possible but you have to be part of an exclusive group and its a whole process where you have to call them. Its just rumors idk if its true though.

Question about Bank wires...

Ive waited 12 business days since they approved the wire. No sign of it coming yet.

Is cancelling a good idea? Like how much longer do I have to wait if I just ask them to cancel the wire and replace teh funds into my Bovada account?

If its only a few days or even only a week, then I will be glad to cancel the bank wire and take out a couple checks over time. What a nightmare if i have to wait over a month again for a payout. Ive read 3-5 months on some of the bank wires.

Anyway, has anyone else had experience with cancelling a bank wire that has not reached your bank account? Any tips?

Has anyone had success depositing a check via an atm?

If the check has 9 rounding numbers, ATM will usually work. These checks are usually from the east.

If it only has 8 routing numbers, you need to deposit with teller. These are coming from the north.

any idea from anyone on getting checks cashed. I got a check today from Canada and couldn't find any check cashing place to just cash it. And my bank gave me a little concern. Had to go in and deposit it and does show as "pending" deposit…..

I just figured would be easier to just get cashed and be done with it or am I OK and just being paranoid…thanks in advance.

You can't cash them, you have to deposit.
