I was explaining what the previous poster said, not expressing my own opinion.

He said basically that he would not withdraw any earnings over the amount needed to satisfy his tax debt (presumably to build his roll over time, play higher stakes, etc).

So every month, say you net a steady $2k. He would withdraw $500 every month then if his tax bracket was estimated to be 25%.

So after about 15 successful check deposit at my bank... today I see that a deposit I made two weeks ago has been placed on hold... I called and was told that the check cleared but they are doing additional verification which can take up to a week.

Anyone have any experience as to what usually happens after the verification process?

Thanks!

I deposited an east check via ATM. I was provisionally credited for the full amount of the check the next day; however, my account showed a debit for the full amount of the check 3 days later. I'm told that the check was flagged for collections once it was removed from the ATM by a teller. Sure enough, I get a mailed carbon copy of a "Collection Receipt" with check details filled in. I am told that foreign checks must go to "collections" and there should be no problems, but nobody can give me a timeline on this collections process. Anyone have a similar experience? How long did it take?

Is there any verification process that needs to be done before requesting a payout? I am not seeing anything in the cashier page.

Is Bovada charging anyone else more for WU payouts now? For 2k payout is 200 fee 200-499 is 75 dollar free 499-999 is 100 dollar fee this is insane.

Im just making sure they are not only charging me extra now.

This is going to depend on your bank. It could take a couple days or a couple weeks.

yes apparently they've raised the fees, which IMO, is perfectly fine....too many people are abusing the WU cashout option.
i'm sure I'm gonna catch **** for saying that, but its true....I think WU/MG cashouts should be reserved for situations where people actually need the money immediately or for people who cannot receive a check for whatever reason.

these people requesting max WU cashouts every other day are taking advantage of the situation and eventually will regret doing so when Bovada ends up completely doing away with these type of cashouts.

I'm not sure if people realize just how fast the checks are coming from Bovada lately(less than 2 weeks with some only taking 72 hours from start to finish)....and although I do expect things will slow down a bit during the NFL season, I'm not sure why so many people are using WU/MG for their sole means of cashing out. These horror stories of people depositing a check, having the funds clear only to find out later that the funds have been placed on a hold and the check sent to collections...THESE SITUATIONS ARE THE MINORITY BY FAR.

you are not gonna see many people posting about successful cashouts unless they are active members of this particular thread....and not to mention the fact that in 95% of these situations the person is using some stupid local bank which does not have the capabilities to process foreign checks in the first place.

anyways point of the story? unless you TRULY need the money ASAP or have a good reason for not wanting a check....I highly recommend just going with a check! my last one arrived in roughly 48hours from initial request and cleared with zero issues at the large national bank that rhymes with "ACE"...so avoid those steep WU fees and help Bovada keep it as an option for those situations when you actually need it.

For the record, I deposited a full check from the North 3 days ago, teller just took the deposit slip, the check, and came back with my receipt in like 2 minutes. It's not hard.

It probably even says on the check stub to deposit it at a teller, not an ATM. Most of us have had success at ATMs, yes, but still...

In my experiences, checks from the North can't be deposited through any of my banking apps (ch4se and B0A), while checks from the East can be deposited through both (i have never tried the ATM however but I'm guessing it uses the same technology).

Has anyone had any experiences with wire transfers lately? I'd like to play higher limits on Bovada but don't feel comfortable keeping so much money on there since it takes a couple weeks to get 3k checks. If I could wire out quickly, I'd be much more willing.

That's pretty impressive. How long did it take the Delorean to hit 88 MPH?
