Coinbase is the exchange many are using now. Visa bitpay card is also an option. Probably your best as you can withdraw cash from ATMs for a minor fee, or get cash back from a store/market (Walmart) with a purchase, for no fees. If you have a PREVIOUSLY USED CIRCLE GENERATED ADDRESS, you can reuse that address if that loophole is still open. A few of us have done several cash outs to Circle using that method. You could try a $5 test to see if loophole still is there. Its been 2 months since I last used it. Did 5 such cash outs that way. The key is a PREVIOUSLY USED CIRCLE GENERATED ADDRESS. I kept a notebook dated/recorded for every BTC address I ever generated, used or not. So I had no problem identifying PREVIOUSLY USED CIRCLE GENERATED ADDRESSES.

Depends on what you're using it for. To just temporarily hold btc that you're depositing/withdrawing, I'd use any of the reputable mobile wallets.

https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

If you're holding the btc longer term then a hardware wallet is best (Ledger Nano S, Trezor, Keepkey.)

Always you as an intermediary wallet.

Can't get a response on the bitcoin thread, so need to make a post b/c I've been trying to figure out what the best ewallet is for days now

Is Coinbase the best still? Someone said Etherum, just looking for a few more opinions before I commit to one, thanks

A wallet like Electrum is fine. That is what you use as your intermediary.

Coinbase is my Bitcoin exchange of choice. Their customer support is not very good, but I have never had a problem there. For my wallet I use Blockchain, I've never had a problem there either.

Alright so that would be like:

ACR - Blockchain - Coinbase?

its confusing because Coinbase calls itself a Wallet...

well I signed up for Coinbase and tried to link a bank account, and it gave me the

"You've exceeded the maximum number of attempts for today. Please wait 24 hours and try again"

message on my very first attempt....not a good start :/

Coinbase is a wallet too. You could go ACR->Coinbase and vice versa. HOWEVER, that is not recommended since they do not allow transactions to gambling sites and if they catch that transaction, they might disable your account. That's the reason everyone is suggesting adding in that middle layer.

So coinbase is wrecked

I tried to link a bank account last night and it wouldn't let me log in, and now today I'm trying to link a paypal account, it wants me to upload my ID, and then takes me to a blank page when I click.

Any other suggestions?

Visa bitpay card is an option. However, it takes a week to arrive after you pay the $9.95 fee in bitcoins. Just did a cash out on another site and 50 hours from request to funds loaded on card via Blockchain wallet.

So you're using your Blockchain wallet as an intermediary (poker site --> blockchain wallet --> Visa BitPay card)?

Is there any risk in cashing out directly to your BitPay card?

So is there no alternative to using Coinbase as a wallet to deposit onto ACR?

The website is totally glitched out for me and I'm sketched out by that

Visa bitpay doesn't really sound like a good way to deposit $100 honestly...

You're right. The bitpay card is for cash outs only. Since KYC was a prerequisite for the card, bypassing a middle wallet seems to be inviting a card cancellation.

Well this sucks...been waiting 4 days now to try and make a BTC deposit to ACR, might just have to bit the bullet and use a debit card since there's no way to buy BTC right now apparently.

I tried Bitfinex as well and they said "USD wire transfers are paused currently"
