Hi guys,
Anyone else had problems withdrawing with betsafe. I've sent about 15 documents and still waiting for a withdrawal. Probably getting close to a month of being messed about.

Hello, I have provided two of the requested documents and gotten a withdrawal of around 4k euros in 3 days. A month later when tried to withdraw 300 eur and was denied. I asked the live support what's wrong and I am supposed to print screen details of my skrill account for them to verify that I am the owner of skrill account. I feel that this is at worst quite shady and at best very amateurish. Has anyone have this happen to him? I asked for a manager to confirm what they need and to send me an official email and this was there response:

To ensure that I kindly ask you to upload a screenshot of your Skrill account profile page where we could see your personal details and also your Skril account number.

Do you not have a working relationship with Skrill so they could answer all of your queries and verify that I am indeed the account holder instead of making your customers do something like this. A total stranger asking me to share my account info and my banking details via the support chat, really? I have played at Pokerstars for nearly 5 years without ever having to be in this position.

I hope that now that you have 3 of my personal documents it is enough to pay me my money.

update: documents seem to be approved now. Still, anyone find it funny/shady/uncomfortable for the support to make me send a screenshot of my skrill profile?

This type of request is not uncommon. Same as asking for scan/photo of credit card and associated bank statement

Only problems I had with Betsafe before the inevitable limiting was when they requested a copy of my id, so I scanned a perfect copy of my passport, which they proceeded to reject. I engaged in a long chat with Stefan who told me to spend £15 on a citizen card, which I was extremely reluctant to do, given that it would essentially be lost value on my winnings from the book.

I proceeded to scan and send my document a Number of times and it was rejected each time. I then took a worse quality picture of my passport and they immediately accepted this. I found it highly confusing. If they perceived that the picture made it more likely that I was the person in the picture I can't really see how they come to that logic.

Anyway, I got my money, and an acknowledgment that their procedures in some spots are a tad lacking. If I had listened to Stefan I would have lost £15 worth of value and pretty inconvenienced in having to go out of my way to get an ID card that is less secure than a passport.
