FYP.

If anybody thinks this is bad then do the maths for a 8-10% ROI SNG player or a 2-3BB/100 low-limit LHE player... These are top-end winrates in today's games and yet the sites are still taking about 50% of these players' net winnings!

word... this site sounds really cool, i would definitely be interested in something like this if there were traffic.

Just to further Juks point, many cash game players, I know me as a ~9bb/100 NL50 player (after rakeback) have roughly 33% of my winnings siphoned off by pokerstars. 10% of wnnings taken would be absolutely nothing in comparison. And this is ONLY for winners! If you lose it gives you a great chance to catch up at 0% rake whatsoever!

GFG ship it.

Yeah it does sound interesting.

Any PLO traffic? I mean do games EVER run? I've been playing Everleaf so don't mind low-traffic networks, just so long as there are at least some players.

What's the software like?

Would be good if a representative from their site could open up a thread here.

ok, so far my experience with betraiser has been good. i took part in a couple of freerolls, software is doing well, payouts were handled in time and i cant really complain about traffic.

Wonder how many superusers this site has. And if they pay cash out.. I mean seriously? Permanent rake free? What do they live off of? Banners?

It might help if you read the thread before posting next time...

No it doesn't. Losers lose only what they lose at the table. No rake on those hands they won. And winners come out much better than paying rake. Except at high stakes maybe, but there aren't any of those on Betraiser.

Do the math, as they say.

I joined ages ago, won a €10 freeroll and played a hand or two with it. Then forgot my login and emails to support bounced. As I was propping elsewhere at 100% rakeback, even at the micro stakes I play I didn't bother. Today I phoned. They gave me another email and had me back in in 10 minutes.
Software is OK except you can't resize it except by changing your screen resolution. Traffic is minimal and nothing to play except low stakes NLHE.

Is it possible to open an account there without a mobile phone number?

Obviously typing in a mobile phone number and verifing that via email and security codes sent via SMS (Which is their standard rutine it seems...) is obviously a good way to get scammed

I hope, really hope one day this fee structure will dominate the industry. Now pokerrooms are just ripping money from us. If you are a NL100+ regular you pay $5k in rake monthly. Isn't it ridiculous?
For a comparison, I can play World of Warcraft 24/7 and have to pay less than $20 a month. Guess what, Wow is still making money with such a small monthly fee.

They belong to Gamesys NV. I have written to Gamesys in the UK to ask if they have any connection. I suspect the answer will be not.

I did a bit of googling on them and the domain name is registered to one, Denis Voronin. I read (http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...post11531.html ) that they use software originally designed for a Russian site that had to close because of Russian law. They promote the use of WebMoney, which is a Russian outfit.

yes it sounds like a fantastic business model that will benefit all players, allow any winner to actually win and losers to minimise their losses keeping them at the tables longer. It sickened me that when I was playing 2/4 LHE, in many months the site took 100% of my winnings because to win I had to beat 4BB/100. Rake sites amounts to a scam at low limits imo.

I've had confirmation from Gamesys (the UK company) that they have no connection with Gamesys NV.

well I hope you 2+2 guys can make this site popular so another one pops up with a similar business model that is available for the US
(or UIGEA is repealed, lol)

Thought it worth mentioning that I withdrew to moneybookers without problem after winning the freeroll and a couple of sngs. Traffic is low still.

I might try them out!

If it is 100% Rake FREE...then I guess I don't have to chase someone up when my rakeback hasn't been paid into my account like I have been doing for a longtime! I like that

I'm only playing these types of rooms from now on. As long as you're careful. Sometimes they have some funky way to take your money. This, as far as I can tell, seems pretty legit.

And still no poker site has adopted the line: "We pay you to play poker". For the life of me I don't understand why the no/low RB sites don't do this.

so you'd be willing to leave stars for a large site with no rakeback?
