IF there is a thread for this, please move it there, as I couldn't find it.

During the upgrade on Monday, I had registered for a hu sng. As I waited for a game I started noticing the lag, as after a little bit decided to unregister from the tourney and try to restart the client.
Unfortunetely I got a down for maintenance message and it was a couple hours later before I could even get logged on. When I did I noticed I was short the amount of the tourney, and under the finished games it showed I had lost.

I emailed BCP support with the tourney number and this same explanation.

Below is the email response:

Dear xxxxxx.
I am writing in relation to your recent inquiry regarding Tournament ID: xxxxxxxx.
Our technical team have reviewed this issue extensively and, unfortunately, were unable to detect any technical issues on our end, nor did any other players display any signs of being affected. Therefore, if you were disconnected during this tournament, it would appear to be an issue with your connection.
Our Poker Room is fully compatible with Windows 2000, XP, and Media Center, or later, with a 500 MHz Pentium processor, or faster, alongside a broadband connection (which ensures a smooth connection). Please make sure that you have sufficient disk space for installation and any future updates; you will need to have at least 40MB free disk space.
We suggest that you don't use any internet-heavy applications whilst running our Poker Room (i.e. file sharing programs or web pages which display a lot of images/movies).
Another way to reduce the stress of the poker application is to minimize the main poker client window while playing in a tournament. Personal firewall, anti-virus, spyware or adware programs and general (internet) security settings may also affect your connection to our Poker Room.

I don't want to say too much negative, but to claim it's my problem is pretty bad considering.

I would assume that IT could look and see that I didn't play a single hand in this tourney, and to claim they had no technical difficulties is nuts. Are others getting the same responses?

I played a $23 hu limit sitngo. Opponent down to last 340 chips, I have top pair on flop, and... I get timed out even though I clicked bet 30 times; I lose hand; every hand after that, I click bet; it doesn't register and I get timed out and lose every single hand in this way until sitngo is over. Most fun I've had in years.

I haven't bothered contacting support because the response you're getting is exactly what I expect. No use.

And why have other players reported that they got refunded for it on skins like Hero and Carbon?

I was just going to make this thread, but it has only been two days and I'm sure they are flooded a bit still. So I was going to wait a day or two more until I came to the forums with my grievances.

but since this thread already exists...

I emailed support two days ago and have yet to receive a response. Lets make this the official "refund our damn money!" thread haha. Anyone who lost money due to the botched launch should post here and and demand their money back. Sorry Merge, but if I literally can't click on raise/fold/call and the blinds eat my buy in you are liable for that.

I lost a couple Bi's the first day getting sat out.

But I ain;t mad at cha Merge.


And dont need a refund.

As I only played small Bi since, not playing fully until qerks all sorted.

That´s what happened to a lot of us, loosing by sit out and folding during hands. Anyways just happy everything is getting fixed

Just wanted to say ty to BCP for looking at this again. Got the refund today. I believe it's the fair thing to do, just took a little while with all that's going on. Sure glad I didn't go cussing and screaming at them. Just wanted to give props when it's due.
