You have said a couple of times in this thread that you never chip dumped, but considering you ran up 64K in 3 weeks, were you on the recieving end of dumping?

I thought I made this clear. Let me say it again: I HAVE NEVER CHIP DUMPED OR RECIEVED CHIP DUMPING FROM ANYONE ON BETONLINE OR ANY SITE EVER. I WAS NOT ON THE RECIEVEING END OF A CHIP DUMP ON BETONLINE AND HAVE NEVER BEEN ON THE RECIEVEING END OF A CHIP DUMP ON ANY SITE EVER.

Action Poker and sites on that newtwork...playing there would scare the hell out of me. Extremly shady. Something needs to be done about this network.

In my readings over the years they are borderline AP/UB-like. Serious crooks!

Alex from Betonline is a supervisor or manager. He is your best shot. He posts on SBR
11-16-2011 , 08:50 PM
have played with OP and can confirm he wins 100% of flips.

Joking aside, this ****ing sucks man. Really hope you get this straightened out and get paid ASAP

can't wait to see the hands they email you saying you were cheating on. That's such a bold claim for them to make. Unless villian is folding to a $5 bet in a $1000 pot on the river, how can a site make a claim that chip dumping is happening?
11-16-2011 , 09:39 PM
By finding a player or players that committed some kind of fraud and then "lost" most or all the money to one player, I would expect.
11-17-2011 , 01:25 AM
This amount confiscated and scenario brings back memories of the infamous Cake thread. The last few times betonline did this players were able to proceed with cashouts and got their money. Going to be interesting to watch this one unravel.

running up to 65K and somehow still needing to place a $1222 wager in the sportsbook is baffling, especially since the hand history file is too massive to send, which indicates heavy play.
11-17-2011 , 02:10 AM
OP - did you win the $1,222 sports bet????
11-17-2011 , 02:10 AM
I cant say I can help you, but I do know alex from BOL, not well, but enough to start up this conversation. I also know some people at SBR, who maybe able to push a few buttons. I will do what I can do, as I dont feel anyone should get their funds taken as I have with a few sites in my time. I also believe, even if a chip dump were initiated, the site should prepare you with the necessary info so it could be investigated further. Can you PM me about this, letting me know who you were again. I'll do something if I can. I really hope at the least is they release these suspected hand histories.

I want to say I've heard some suspicious things in forums, albeit they have a B+ rating. I am not sure why this is. That is why I want to initiate a few things, that I can through my contacts.

At the time I was so frustrated I literally looked for the first bet I could make and did that. I bet on an ATP tennis match (I know literally nothing about tennis) that took place on Friday, November 11th, 2011. There was only 1 match available for betting on and I bet on the super favorite but I do not remember his name. To be honest I do not even know if I won this bet because I do not exactly remember who I bet on.

I wanted to update this thread. I filed a claim with SBR (Sports Book Review) and they are currently reviewing my claim and trying to get into touch with BetOnline management. I still have not recieved any hand histories from them at all even though they said they were going to send me the hand histories of the hands they claim I "cheated" in.

Assuming op is telling the truth this is disgusting conduct by betonline and they need to post the hhs in thread as op has clearly given permission

hope u bet on federer

Just wanted to stop in as a character reference for Greg. I've known Greg for quite some time now through poker but have also hung out IRL in Vegas this summer. I've been aware of the situation as it's unfolded and can vouch for what he has explained being true. There is no way Greg would have been involved in any sort of chip dumping. I really hope BetOnline takes care of this situation ASAP as they are just ruining their reputation for future business.

Prolly they think it was a chip dumping when you timed out again due to their sucky software on a big pot. Clever, just let them time out with the crap-soft and then keep em away from cashing out because it was a chipdump, oh-ho.

But a site that doesn't even tell the truth when it comes to the point which network they're on. This should be widely known.

Obviously I did not do enough homework before depositing and I of course now regret that. Although the one thing that really instilled confidence in my decision to play on their site was that they had a B+ rating on sportsbookreview (SBR).

It's hard to find a place to play in the US and none of them have any serious traffic so I can understand why he would try there. Up until just recently we had like Bodog and that was about it. There are a few more now but even if you add all the traffic up on every site available to the US it doesn't even come close to the old FTP and PS traffic.

I miss my online poker lol I play but it isn't the same.

Best of luck, OP. This is outrageous and hopefully others will learn from your hardship and steer clear of yet another shady, untrustworthy site.

SOUNDS BRUTAL TO ME

Just for the heck of it....I went to the net & clicked on the first site that reviewed BetOnline Poker. It happened to be "POKERNEWSDAILY" & it had todays date on it.

It says its on the "Hero Poker Network" which I believe is the one that folks are saying its not on.

Out of all the categories they have listed for this site, Customer Support ranks highest at 9.5.

It's Overall Review is 8 of 10 - Very Good.

Guess that shows what a random review of a poker site on the net is worth.

Ya I read a few reviews similar to this one giving the room a good rating. I thought between those and seeing that they were rated a B+ on sports book review (SBR) that was enough to go ahead and start playing their. I guess like you said it goes to show how much reviews are worth in some cases.

The review doesn't have today's date on it - their navigation bar across the top which is common to all their pages does.

But yeah, that's completely standard...most sites that present reviews are affiliates for the poker rooms, so the reviews are far from subjective. But the Internet is full of those kinds of things in all different areas of business, and if you guys aren't able to think critically and spot them, you're going to get sucked in an awful lot.

This is kinda funny. Do you remember if you won that bet ?

Anyway, that really sucks if you have to go through hell to get your money.
