probably better not to understand the words. i mean, who elso could get away with that ridiculous dancing.

lmao at the old lesbians in the audience

and now a bit of culture:

Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth. Lo. Lee. Ta. She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks. She was Dolly at school. She was Dolores on the dotted line. But in my arms she was always Lolita

Ok, small update:

So I was referred from the rednines.com manager to another person working for rakerebate.net and that also seems to be affiliated with mbpokerinvest.com (because that was the e-mail he replied from) after I contacted him at rakerebate.net.

I still haven't received a copy of the TOS, I keep getting stalled on that end for weeks now.

He also claimed they had a deal with Cake Poker 14 days after TUSK went down that would have been "OK" for the players, but the liquidators would not get back to him and the deal stranded.

They pretty much ignore any questions that would help me get further in this matter, so I think I've exhausted my options on that end for now.

Fwiw, my personal opinion is our best shot outside the liquidation of seeing any money at all would be to go after the skin owners. I'm pretty sure at least the one from rednines has enough money to make it worth while.

Nice update sonplz.

This is such a sick wait to hear back from the liquidators, we're prolly not seeing a dime until 2009, ugh.

Bump and also: Sims Partners Australia's webpage is not working for me today. It'd be funny if our liquidators went into liquidation themselves.

SimsPartners Sydney and Brisbane have merged with PPB Sydney and PPB Melbourne effective 1 July 2008 and now trade as PPB.

Our new website address is www.ppb.com.au

The Sims website is working for me, could have just been a technical problem earlier.

Browsing through it I found Bevtech who went into administration in April '07 and still don't have any news/resolution posted. Interestingly I also see Enron Australia have been being administered since '02.

Has anyone actually spoker to Grant Sparks or Ray Richards, the staff appointed to the liquidation by Sims?

Yeah, if you want to talk to them you can just call them. I think there was a phone-number in the one email we got from them. If not you can call the brisbane office number. (they actually call back if they are not in at that time btw)

[ ] Poaster had money tied up in this fiasco and so he responsibly followed this thread.

Fill out the proof of debt form, send it to Sims Partners and attach screenshots of your balance and/or transactions (if you tried to withdraw and never got the money). That should be enough "proof". Supposedly the liquidators have access to TUSK's database, so this should just be a sort of confirmation.
If you don't have the poker client anymore, say which one it is: there's people here who have some of them.

so what happens if we dont get the money back. do microgaming get a bad reputation or will everyone have forgotten about it all?
i kind of think microgaming should suffer in reputation if we actually do loose the money.

Nothing.... That is why I said we needed to take action right away and not a year from losing the money. At this point I'm hoping that a get half of my money back. I've pretty much accepted that I have lost a large portion which is unrecoverable.

Where does your half idea come from? As far as I can tell, whoever ran Tusk into the ground was probably smart enough to get nearly all the money out before liquidating. Granted I'm going on third hand rumors and extrapolation, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if the liquidators get us 10%.

Yeah, Tusk guys probably now are living in Thailand spending the millions they stealed with hookers.

If we only get 10% back I think we should all combine our funds and have the owners of tusk put into early graves.
