If you got a big 2 page spread saying how safe is your money on these big book makers. Stories like i have 22k just locked 1 day etc. Maybe the bookmakers will see there buisness drop a little and get microgaming to get this moving. What yous think?

My two cents on these suggestions on how to hurt Microgaming is a bad idea. It is strongly(?) suggested that the reason why Microgaming hasnt stepped up and vouched for the players money is because they dont know how much it is yet (there has been some estimates, but nothing official), and they dont know how much is left of it in Tusk. So basically they will wait for the liquidator to process the case and pay out whatever is left in Tusk, and THEN make the consideration to cover the rest of it. As stated several times, similar cases have happened before on the Prima network, and Microgaming has stepped up in those cases. I dont know if they will this time, but I wouldnt rule it out until the liquidation process is over and we see the respons from Microgaming.
Regardless, how does contacting the media and giving Microgaming a bad rep help us in this case? Frankly, I only see it as hurting us. Let's say the media cover it and Microgaming loses like 20% more of their players. This will lower their income, hence giving them less money. When they know the $ amount that the players lost in this case they must consider if they can afford to cover it. Obviously they prolly can, but if their business is fading and they have to spend alot more money for marketing, it will be less money that is available for our case.
Now I understand how you think such a story in the papers would force Microgaming to pay us, but remember, first of all Microgaming has done nothing wrong in this case in terms of the money lost, only in terms of information given (both before and after this happened). Also remember the media has its own agenda, and thats to sell papers etc. They arent interested in helping us getting our money back, they are interested in making the story as "sellable" as possible. They might blow this up huge about the big bad company, but have no interest in doing a followup if Microgaming came through for us. Even though this is purely speculations on my part, I dont see how going to this step at this time will be more helpful than hurtful for our case.
However if the case ends up with us the players as the big losers, this is a step we might want to take. I'm assuming there are some of the highrollers that also plan on taking legal action if this case doesnt have a happy ending, so for now I plan on sitting back and let the liquidation take its time and be processed.
