Re: Battlefield Poker and 27 other Microgaming skins to close?
this story is huge.
i never even usually read this topic but clicked on it by accident. this really needs to be seen by everyone that uses 2+2 in my opinion.
i had an e-mail from rednines just last week offering me a deal that amounts to about 60% back. the only reason i didn't transfer my bankroll there was that i was in a rake race on my site and was doing quite well and it wasn't worth just giving that up so i was waiting until tomorrow to finish it then move my play. i am SO glad i didn't and extremely relieved i read this too.
i sincerely hope this gets resolved for all those concerned but i for one know that i will take an awful lot of persuading to use that network in the future.

Re: Battlefield Poker and 27 other Microgaming skins to close?
We are one of the 28 poker rooms - we set up for the reason of having an online presence for the players on our 'live' tour and as such must be the smallest of all the operators affected. I have tried to get some information from Microgaming but all i get is 'we cannot comment'. MyPokerProfit are not back in the office until later tonight as they are based in Australia - The only indication those guys have given points towards a rakeback violation by red Nines and Battlefield, there is no mention of Tusk going into liquidation. This is a real pain in the arse as we paid MPP a $25,000 setting up fee and with the lack of information coming out of MGS or MPP, it is looking pretty bleak on getting any of this investment back. I play in our poker room and made a withdrawl last week which arrived on time a few days ago. So the withdrawls have worked fine upto this point. I will post anymore information as and when I have it.....

Hi Nik. Are you referring to this group of poker rooms or to the Prima/Microgaming network? As a whole I think you'll find Microgaming is one of the strictest software providers in terms of proper treatment and security of players.
Whilst players with funds in these rooms may be very anxious at the moment, I am sure the issue will be resolved properly.

Tusk is in liquidation. This has nothing to do with Red Nines or BFP and rakeback. No matter what they tell you. MGS put out a statement that Tusk was in liquidation, Tusk got ALL the casino licenses pulled 12 days ago.

Re: Battlefield Poker and 27 other Microgaming skins to close?
no iam not saying only 4 sites left iam sure there is more, but iam saying if you have money on prima and can actually play, today might be a great day, cause thier 28 sites light and probably won't make alot of thier guarantees, the 35k for 25 buy might be +EV

Re: Battlefield Poker and 27 other Microgaming skins to close?
There are lots of skins not affected by this (Stans, Gutshot, crazy poker to just name a few more)....
However from what I understand your probably better keeping you money in your account than attempting a withdrawal, as I really doubt that Microgaming will allow the money in accounts to be lost. However if you try an make a withdrawal, then your money will be in Tusk hands, and may be a little less solid.... I'd keep the money in the skins, as if they get moved, your account should also get moved
I'm leaving mine in RCC for the moment, I don't really want to risk a withdrawal at this time

I'm not sure this will have much of an impact on the network, as most of these skins were fairly small, you can view a list of them at http://www.mypokerprofit.com/poker-network-brands.asp
Looking at network figures we're not really noticing a difference.
