Nah I treid to withdraw half the cash I had on there yesterday then read this today and was able to cancel the transaction and all the money was credited back to my account. I think you should be ok.

Edit: Just make sure you cancel the transaction

I did not say that

I said that its probably safer to leave your money in the skin. I did not say that anything bad would happen if you try and withdraw, just that all the advice being given is not to try and withdraw at this point

I'm not getting sued for libel here

PokerJames - are you from Stan James Poker? I guess you guys are unaffected by this?

Agree with crashmon - do not try and withdraw your monies. It's a no brainer considering Tusk are the ones who need to process said withdrawl.

For anyone who has made a withdrawl request, there's a way of cancelling it afaik.

this is so troubling, I got 383+k on battle. I sent a request for it all, my bank will really like that if it does go through.

Yes. We are a privately owned company and have no ties whatsoever to Tusk or any of the affected rooms.

Sadly, we have NO news. Nothing. Nothing from Tusk, nothing from MGS.

As soon as we get something concrete we will post it. I don't want to post rumors or gossip or 1/2 truths.

This is frustrating i know for you the players, but it equally frustrating for us. We were 100% blindsided.

I think it's the guys @ Tusk Investment Corporation that need to do some explaining / make a statement. (BTW - lol at the "Investment Corporation" (in an ironic way, rather than any other ))

Can you tell us where our funds are being held currently? Do you control them, does Micro or does Tusk?

I know you said Tusk does all the withdrawls, but what about when they are just sitting in the player's account at Battlefield?

I'm guessing that since their posting on here that Purple Lounge and Eurolinx are unaffected .... And just for my 2 cents....if I had money in any of the affected (Tusk) sites then I'd be leaving the money where it was and not risking any withdrawal issues.

BOLLOX

I have $2k+ in Arctic and am owed about $450 more in RB and rake race for the month. Now what should I do?
Does Arctic have control of my funds unless I request a cash-out or does Tusk have them now? Is Arctic (which is a small room) going to go down anyway?

I took my last $500 off RCC last week (not without a struggle - Tusk/RCC apparently accepted a cash out request on 2nd Feb and then failed to process it 'as I hadn't provided ID' - even though they had processed plenty of my cash outs earlier without ID and they didn't at any time ask for it. Anyway I sent them a scan of my driver's licence that day and they processed the withdrawal to NT ok). Not sure I'm happy about such a dodgy company having my ID details but what can you do?

I am really annoyed with myself as I usually have a rule not to keep more than $1k or so on any sites that aren't big UK bookies like Will Hill/Ladbrokes, Party or Stars..but I was attracted by the 50%+ RB's on offer from these sites and assumed that as they were part of the Microgaming network their payement processing/fund holding was solid. Lesson learned - if it looks too good to be true it probably is - I'm off to Will Hill with my diminished roll now...

SO whats general consensus now?

Leave cash on the skin and hope for the best?

I would think so....I can't imagine MicroGaming will allow all these sites to screw over their players....I'd leave the money in the account and wait for it to be resolved.

Does not give me a lot of confidence in MGS. Especially if ppl counting on rakeback from MGS skins to pay their rent are going to get screwed.

Yes, it is business as usual for us. Purple Lounge is privately owned and operated in the EU, and we have nothing to do with Tusk or their skins. We also do not offer skins ourselves, rather stick to our single brand. Also, all our customer funds are ringfenced and protected.

can someone who is in the know, tell us where it is better for our money to be? I've requested a withdrawl, but there are a lot of us with a significant amount of money tied up and it would be nice to get a little information about wtf is going on.

Yes, it is business as usual for us

That sort of depends on whether MicroGaming lets the depositors go hang doesn't it?

To outside observers all of you are just skins on the Prima/Microgaming Network - reputational damage would be huge across the board IMHO..

This is true, as I know for myself if for some reason I didn't get my money, if anyone ever asked me how I felt about a Microgaming skin, I would go out of my way to tell them to stay far away.
