Re: Battlefield Poker and 27 other Microgaming skins to close?

I was actually doing an article about this so it is an interesting bump. Is that $260,000 all that was discovered, and the liquidators kept all of it? The in transit funds never showed up?

I can't answer your question but would love to see you do an article pointing out what scumbags MicroGaming are for what they allowed to happen to customers with the Tusk skins and then again with Eurolinx. I still have a screenshot showing what Battlefield/Tusk/MicroGaming owe me. I swear if online poker is ever legalized in the U.S. and those crooks are allowed in I will go ballistic.

It is an article order from a website that has a section called "The Muck" where they want a list of all of the major online poker failures. I am writing one about both Tusk and Eurolinx for that website.

After writing this I have been tempted to take another shot at Microgaming on my blog. The thought that anyone would pay them rake after they allowed these types of thefts on their watch is mond boggling. Even if it is to strong names like Ladbrokes it is hard to justify.

No, the amount discovered was higher. IIRC the amount was around 15% of what was owed. The liquidators are still working on recovering more funds.

The BetonSports liquidation took 5 years, so who knows how long this will take.

People are selfish and sleazy, it's as simple as that. No principals, most of us, especially poker players. If you're not like that, kudos, but you're in the minority. Been screwed by Tusk, Bitar/Lederer, Green Joker Poker and another 3rd party payment wallet in the last 4 years.

I have no faith in humanity at this point so I'm not surprised people continue to support crooked networks because they probably have what they would consider a profitable situation there so they say 'screw everyone' and keep playing, thinking of their own interests exclusively.

These are the same sort of people who kept playing on Full Tilt after April 15th even tho their American peers were getting reamed. LOL at you guys.

Re: Battlefield Poker and 27 other Microgaming skins to close?

Thinking about this yesterday, I shot off an email to the liquidators asking about the status.

Here is their response:

Quote:
Dear XXXXXXXXXX

I refer to your below email and advise that we are making preparations with respect to payment of a first and final dividend in the coming months. I note that we will need to apply to court for orders in relation to the dividend and dissolution of the company. We are yet to call for formal proof of debt (“POD”) forms for dividend purposes and notify all creditors in due course.

I confirm we are in receipt of your POD in the amount of US$XXXXXX

Please find attached all reports to creditors issued to date. I also note that all reports to creditors are accessible on our website via the following link:

http://www.ppbadvisory.com/creditor-...nt-corporation

Should you have any queries please contact me.

Kind regards
So, fast response to email, but how many years later? 4? they still don't have the accounting all done?

So bump, I guess you never forget your first (site to vanish with your money).
