I agree with your statement that people don't usually care if it doesn't affect them. But what about the new player? If there's a guy who's really wary of internet sites following the UB/60 Minutes story and they are looking at what sites to trust, they will be having second thoughts when they see a MEGA thread such as this with the words 'Microgaming' and the words scam/stolen/scandal/beware/(enter your word) in the title.

Do we have a working title yet? I doubt that the mods will put this thread in the sticky.

I agree the title needs to be changed, it makes it sound likes the skins may close but have yet to...

I have cash on doylesroom.com - which I think is microgaming but not listed above. Should I be looking to withdraw this?

Is anyone else on doyle's room?

Edit: or is doyles prima? i'm not sure

Cause they pay 88k/year! plus have to have banners over treads like this one with 2+2 affilaited to that link so they make more money if you click it! 2+2 dont care. UB gets hacked by a person a few high stakes guys gets done but get there money back and them some once the site sorts it but there black listed here. A network shuts down 30% of there network money has disappered money is gone players left in limbo. Network says its nothing to do with them. Thats ok with 2+2!

Can you be a little more specific about it?

Eurolinx is a poker site within a network with contracts that bind it as a licensee to a network, it is not a network and is not responsible when another company withing the network goes out of business. Eurolinx has very few complaints on this forum, the vast majority of players who interact with them praise their staff (such as Lydia and Magnus), there seems to be a trust bond that is strong. The overwhelming majority of posts are people praising Eurolinx, I think that speaks volumes about the company, they are a welcome partner of 2+2's. If you chose not to play on their site then thats your decison of course but I can say without the fear of being wrong that this scandal is not Eurolinx's problem.

IMHO its best to be paitent and let the liquidation process run its due course, the second best option is to start suing (I think this is not a good option but its better than complaining!), but the rediculous conspiracy theories I have read in this thread and the laxidasical attitude of players looking for someone/something to blame other than the true source of the problem - Tusk is dissapointing. Microgaming shut TUSK out of it's network because it had to (contractually I assume), can you imagine how bad this scandal would have been if Microgaming ignored TUSK's fiscal problems and let them continue?

PS: What you may not know is that Eurolinx helped some players who were caught in this mess get back on their feet, its an upstanding company with good people who are trying to do the right thing.

The thread title cannot be changed, because its been around for so long it has to remain as-is otherwise it will confuse search engines and that means less traffic to 2+2. This is a high-volume thread, changing the title would reduce that volume.

I dont check this thread often, if anyone would like to ask me a question about the TUSK situation in regards to Eurolinx or any of the other Microgaming skins who are also advertisers on 2+2 please let me know.

Big post. Not on the demagogic side.

While I agree there's been a lot of unnecessary and useless complaining, a) I think it's more than understandable given the situation; b) you could show a little more sympathy for players with stuck balances waiting for something -anything- for more than 8 months.

Also, whereas it might very well be true that MG's initial action prevented TUSK from doing us, the players, more harm, their attitude thereafter has been lacking, to put it mildly. I don't think anyone could realistically disagree with that.

Eurolinx might be run by the nicest people on the face of the Earth (I actually know nothing about them), but they're doing business with a firm that showcased zero responsibility towards their players in a time of hurry, and that at least should be acknowledged. If I had my money in a poker site pertaining to MG's network, I'd feel at least uneasy knowing how things would go down in a scenario such as this one.

Just my two cents.

So 2p2 prefers generating new traffic to the interests of its existing posters. Most of whom, especially now this thing has been going on for so long, have contributed to making 2p2 what it is today.

That aside, the reason we want the title changed is to generate MORE attention for this. If that happens, shouldn't traffic be higher in the long run anyway?

People may lose thousand of dollars in this fiasco and are complaining about it. I have no idea why they are doing that. It's so hard to figure out! What a bunch of whiners!
