after playing a ton at pokerstars since the tusk fallout I really do miss BFP and their oh so sweet RB..... Seeing how much rake I generate daily on my PT stats and seeing how little vpps/fpps I get is kinda sad. sigh

"The liquidator made it clear that this process may take some time, however, Microgaming has been led to believe that affected players will receive information on how to lodge their claims with the liquidator by the end of next week."
Doesn't this sound like mockery of a press release? Why not just type "we might know something then, maybe not. It's not our fault"? They clearly don't know s**t, they should at least be a bit more strict about what rare info they are giving out about the situation. They should be able to authorize things enough to know if the info they're delivering is reliable enough. Now I'm just getting the feeling they have no power to do anything, which just might be the case.

It seems to me that Microgaming neither know nor care what is happening but you have to admit it is prudent to put out press releases that may encourage those on the skins unaffected to continue playing.

Maybe it is a delay tactic to keep people from hiring a lawyer.

where's the info? And if we believe the conspiracy theory of mgs releasing a press release just for the sake for ppl to continue playing there is shortsighted. If it's true, then they are truly dumb and we are probably screwed.

Above posted by bu-cu-ster in another thread in this forum (46k frozen By Unibet/ Microgaming). Not sure whether it is true or what it means......

But if this is only on the deposit that would be almost nothing compared to the bankroll most people (like me) have on there.. you deposit a little and then start building....

The other issue is that for a lot of use players it is more likely that the new skin goes belly up and we lose all our money again before we are able to generate all of our rakeback... For many of us it would literally take years and years.

Hi guys,

The 100 % rakeback thing from above is from me. I posted in another thread in this forum (Unibet, non tusk but mg powered, has frozen my account w 46 k in it due to the most bizarre circumstances and basically treated me like ----). It seems that the 100%-rakeback thing is going to go through and be offered. The Vip manager at that mentioned site was, according to my son (my son mentioned he had friends locked up in this and was told he could forward this info), quite sympathetic and said "at least its better than nothing". I hope though that this does NOT mean that they (MG) are thinking that the funds will not be released and have resorted to this as the sole alternative solution. Now that my own funds have been frozen I can really feel your guys pain. Also, i guess this benefits a winning player that doesn´t have his whole roll tied up, but if you´re a losing player chasing those losses via 100 % rakeback could actually end up costing a h--l of a lot more....

Well it's an interesting theory. Microgaming force one company into liquidation because of rakeback violations and then offer to break their own rakeback rules as "compensation"?

I think not.

This is 100 % true. I have no reason to lie about this.

How are they planning on making up the other 30, 40, or whatever percent players are losing with this 100% RB deal?

For example: A player has $10,000 tied up. MG says they'll make that up by giving them 100% RB until they recover the $10,000. The problem is, if the player had taken his play somewhere else, he would have received a percentage of that back. 25%, 30%, 40%, x%. So the player is still out $2,000-4,000 or maybe more. To be fair, it should be 100% RB until the player reaches something more like 150% of their lost money.

Well, to be truly fair, they should just get all their ****ing money given back, but I mean fair under this "scheme".

The other issue is I can take what money I have left and go to a REPUTABLE casino and get 50% rakeback where I will feel confident my money is safe (rather than depositing with a network that has stolen my money for 100% rakeback). MGS has shown that their whole network is essentially a house of cards. There is no proper structure or responsibility for anyone. To be honest I think anyone who brings more money into microgaming is a fool and deserves to lose their next deposit. This whole issue has shown there is no accountability and how poorly organized the whole system is.

While I am sure this is what you heard, I'm afraid I have little faith in a statement from an anonymous VIP manager of an unaffected skin claiming that Microgaming told him something they haven't told either the owners of the affected skins or the players of those skins or the press.

Even if by some miracle Microgaming tried to offer this as compensation (and I really can't see it happening), it would be a completely ridiculous scheme and something to sneer at rather than be grateful for.

My educated guess would be that it's bull*****.

Microgaming has repeatedly stated that they don't have connections to any skins (although I strongly doubt this statement I understand why they say this for legal reasons). If that is true a 100% rakeback deal could NOT BE OFFERED BY MICROGAMING ALONE. Instead it would have to be a skin and approved by microgaming (since they get a percentage of the rake as well). I suppose the skin would hope that the players would stay on and continue playing with them once the rakeback ran out (at which point the skin would start to make money from the player).
