The correct response is, "No ma'am, you don't understand. If you ever cut off access to my funds again then I am closing all of my accounts with you permanently. Of course you may block transactions that are against your policy, and now that I know what that policy is I will follow it. But online gaming is a perfectly legal activity for me, and I should not be put in the position of not having any access to my own funds, even though your policy is to block those particular transactions."

Re: Bank suspends my debit card for "online gambling"

Three general questions to satisfy my curiosity:

1st) How does the average US-Fish cash in atm?

2nd) Did anybody recognise less fishy players since the cc restrictions?

3rd) What is going to happen on June 1st (read the second time about it today)?

If they can't do Echeck, then they are screwed. Albeit - its very easy to cash in at Cereus (at least, it used to be).

Yes, the games are tighter on Full Tilt, and Stars would be too - except for a large influx of European, Russian players.

After June 1st, US players might find it more difficult to create accounts, less fish until the regulators come to some sort of conclusion. I see the FTP lawsuit as a way to bring all this before a Judge.

I used to be such a proud american. Sadly our country is not that great anymore. I seriously doubt the day will come when they let us play online poker. The government is too concerned with "protecting us". Obama said himself that maybe the american people should be saving their money and not going to vegas. Oh well you guys elected that guy. Hope you are all enjoying him.

Blaming Obama for this is just silly. Your country's government has sucked for so many years and for so many more reasons than this one issue.

Not to mention that it was Repubs that stuffed UIGEA down our throats.

I agree and I'd rather be in Vancouver smoking weed on richards street.

Damnit, I wish I saw this thread. I've been trying to deposit on Bovada and Cake the past few days with my TD Bank debit card. Every single time I've been denied. I hope my debit card is not suspended...

TD banks sucks and they are not even American. I hate the U.S. banking system not sure how Canada's banking system is. If it is similar to the U.S. then it sucks.

I tried depositing on Carbon recently with my TD card (also having not seen this thread) and not only was the transaction denied, but TD suspended my debit card. I called them the next day and after talking to their customer service guy everything seemed peachy, card worked again etc., but then a few days later I'm trying to get gas and my card declines. Today I call them up to figure out wtf is going on and the guy cites my Carbon deposit as the reason why it was shut down, but instead of saying Carbon he talks about it being some Chinese website that is connected to online gaming or something. Then he tells me that neither him or his supervisor can open my account and that I need to call back on a weekday or try to go to my branch personally and get it resolved, and he tells me even that probably won't work since the people who can assist my 'special case' don't work on the weekends. So without any cash on me and no way to access my funds for at least two days, I'm essentially busto this weekend. **** you TD Bank.

I know discussing banks publicly isn't kosher on here, but can somebody recommend a bank to me via PM that doesn't have a vilgante stance toward online gaming? This is absurd.
