Im writing this thread to attract your attention regarding the WBCOOP 2013 Series. Pokerstars does not make any blogger selections and allows anyone to join.

According to their T&Cs only REAL bloggers are allowed to join if they make certain criteria. Now im going to copy and paste some of their paragraphs from their T&Cs :

-write and share with your friends and followers via social media, a 500 (five hundred) word blog post that you have written (“Blog Post”) or short video clip any format, no longer than 60 seconds in length (“Video Blog”), describing in your own words, “What has been your best moment playing on PokerStars?

-we require that you must have had an active online poker blog in operation for a minimum of 1 (one) month prior to your submission and that the blog post must have been updated regularly during this period.

- blog submissions will only be accepted in English, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Danish and Portuguese.

Few examples examples i would like to point out is how can join , maybe win the WBCOOP trophy and they have not even ever blogging in their life.I think that Pokerstars have really messed up in this respect.

The sad thig is that the list can continue.I found in the last 2 days at least 10 fake blogs wich wass created special for the WBCOOP promotion.

Bloggers who feel they have been cheated by Pokerstars should boycott the WBCOOP 2013 Series and ask for another blog submission to be verified and that those players who have not met the requirements and certain criteria should be eliminated from the competition.

I will be waiting for a Pokerstars Official Representative to respond and offer an explanation to this thread.

One has to laugh at the way Jokerstars allows for people to participate in the WBCOOP whereas they havent made a blog or either copy and pasted someone elses.
Jokerstars bending the rules to support the muppets who dont take the time to sit and do a real blog but scam their way into these tournaments.
Pokerstars needs to have a good look at themselves for the benefit of the REAL players who take their time to post such blogs and not to benefit the scammers out there!!!

When you contacted PS regarding these fake blogs, what was their response?

I completely agree with your message.

Besides, half of the players are in Sitting Out and as there are often less than 250 players for 110 paid places, even there sitting out you can touch a ticket for the Scoop.

The level of the players is very borderline and I doubt that many are of reality passionate about poker well ... but its the Real Life ...!!!

I didnt participate this time cause I havent posted in about 6 months, can we get an answer?

Some never blogged and got tickets.

I don't think guys who don't blog should be allowed to play and I hope they go through it and remove players that don't blog. I think they could be lenient on the 500 word count and how much the blog is updated but it is terrible that they give tickets to players with 1 post on their blog made last week. What makes this worse is that there are people who actually do blog and have not received tickets.

I am not sure what to say about what you commented there. Its the money of pokerstars and they can do what they consider ok with it. I agree that having players that don't meet the requirements, play the wbcoop, is -EV for the players that meet all the rules. But I think that the players should just be happy with oportunity that they received and be happy for the free tickets that they will get. Pokerstars could have just not made the wbcoop 2013 at all and than noone would receive tickets.

I made my post 6days ago and followed all the required steps like: tweeting the link and having a 500 word post, and having a 1 year old blog that was regularly updated, but I still have not received the 10 tickets. I sent 2 emails to pokerstars trying to see why I did not not my tickets but they didn't respond to my emails. I respect pokerstars's decision and don't feel angry to what I consider might be some injustice against me.

well to me it seems that they payed out more than 50k$ in prizes(including leaderboard, best blogger, etc) which is quite a lot. It really is unfortunete that players who don't meet the requirements play and players that meet requirements can't play, but what can we do about it. Just play the events and win tickets for scoop and be happy buddy!

Such a shame , i just double checked you're blog and I really can't find any reasons why they didnt credited you're entry tickets to WBCOOB events.

Serious guys , just please notice the differences and this is not a isolated case.On a simple google search I find last night over 50 fake blogs submisions accepted.

after the WBCOOP 2012 I hoped things are getting better - it's the opposite what's happening. So, my last post is the official "I skip it" post.

PokerStars, it's a pitty. Yeah, I know we've got history, your statement included. But that's the way I see my blog: As a way to point my finger on things going in the wrong direction. There had been so many possibilities for your WBCOOP - now they are gone.

P.S. Besides: Two submissions, no tickets. I've been in contact with support twice - it didn't help to send them my blog entry again. Today I decided to skip the WBCOOP 2013. And I don't think I'll give it a try again.

Statements like this serve no purpose, they just make you look stupid and unable to argue in a constructive way. By the way, the fake bloggers also play fake poker as well, just use it to your advantage ...
