Anyone played on Ignition? Anyone played on Ignition?

Quite some time ago now I was playing a lot of RB & AO tourneys at Cake poker and doing well. There were so many players that would go all-in with like 8-7 suited & up until they had a good stack to start the real tourney after the AO - people would at times have $300 invested (lots of dbl. rebuys) which meant if they didn't finish 5th, they would lose money. I usually had $20 to $80 invested.

So 1 night I went to play & the site was frozen, you couldn't log in. This was Cake poker. Luckily I found this forum early in my computer/online poker introduction. I came here and found that Cake had dumped all its American players on the Lucky Stakes site. AND THERE WAS NO PREVIOUS NOTICE THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, WHICH THERE WERE SCUMMY REASONS FOR I SOON FOUND OUT.

I HAD BEEN PLAYING EVERY NIGHT BACK THEN (u gotta make hay while the sun shines) & could not have missed a notice, and after talking to some of the other players it happened to, they had the same story & when I E-mailed Lucky stakes.....they said YES...there was no notice given.

BOTTOM LINE - at Cake u could make one free withdrawal a month which worked great for me. When I went to the Cashier area of Juicy Stakes I couldn't believe it. ALL WITHDRAWALS WERE CHARGED A $100 FEE. SO THAT ANSWERED THE QUESTION ABOUT NO PRIOR NOTICE.

I HAD APPROX. $700 in my account when I learned of this & of course if I knew what was coming....I would have taken my money & withdrawn it all free from Cake. I wrote Juicy Stakes an E-mail questioning how they could do such a thing.....I made an analogy about businesses running like that where they were geographically close and always paid their bills on time and so forth & the reply was this was their business model although it might change sometime in the future. Bottom Line - u can't do anything about it.

I took Juicy Stakes & deleted it from my computer long ago. I think I heard they don't charge those huge fees anymore - how could they stay in business even as weak as the American Online Poker Market is now. Yep, that was what a certain senator was up to around 2006, not the world & America falling apart, but deciding for the People in the USA that HE didn't want them to play online poker.

Then he either lost his seat or retired on his yacht bought by lobbyists for all the dozens of lottery scratch off and pick 3, 4, or 5 at noon or evening and Powerball and Mega Millions & a couple other of the gambling biggies. Can't have any of that dough going to online poker.

SO NOW I'VE BEEN PLAYING AT BOVADA because I'm older & just started with computers to play online poker. I knew when POKERTRACKER & HOLDEM MANAGER came out - well, within a year anyway I guess. The smart young computer crowd knows how to use these 3rd party programs & I don't very well. I got HOLDEMMANAGER when we could still play at stars & I just played one game type for the same stakes & I picked 4 stats to come next to my opponents.

That worked OK for a while, but I was only using a fraction of the programs ability & I knew that, I tried to play other sites eventually & other games & stakes & very soon I was way above my head, & I had come to that saying - garbage in and garbage out & that 3rd party programs went into mothballs.

Its got to the point where your computer skills are as important as your poker Skills.

MY BOTTOM LINE QUESTION. I've BEEN PLAYING AT Bovada FOR A WHILE NOW BECAUSE they don't allow the 3rd party programs to capture all your info - just for the game u are in with them, at least that is what they say.

I JUST STARTED SEEING THAT THE BOVADA POKER PLAYERS ARE GOING TO HAVE TO TRANSFER their info to a site called IGNITION POKER. Does anybody play there now? If so, do u know their Cahier info. How about business - little - medium - lot. Whatever anybody's take on the site would be great.

I'm going to download the site mid Sept., you have to get transferred over by the end.

LIKE I SAID - ANYBODY WHO HAS PLAYED THERE OR KNOWS MUCH ABOUT - THAT INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIALED. THANKS
