I emailed PS suppourt and got a very generic almost advertising reply to my question

I have never made a deposit on PS, I made some transfers through 2+2 for my Full Tilt funds because I want something different

I basically just wanted to check I was still able to earn rewards and VIP status with pokerstars despite never having made a first deposit. I just thought there might be a little trick in there to make you deposit

I emailed suppuort and basically got this 5 page spread about how good a first deposit is etc and 1 paragraph stating people who play for real money earn VIP points, but it never really answered my exact question (call me nitty)

Despite never making a deposit, am I elidgable for bonuses and VIP status?

In the cashier it should show you any FPPs you have accumulated. There is also a button on the lower right side of cashier window that says "check my VIP status" or such.

Yes, you get all of that stuff. My brother has never made a deposit, only transfers from me to fund his account. He still gets VPPs and FPPs and all the other good stuff.

The only thing that I might worry about is that there might be some cashout restrictions. I can't help you there though.

OP, you write in a vague, confusing manner and that is not the best approach for the first level of customer service as they will just try to fit your request into their standard reply options.

You can ask if you are entitled to stellar rewards and VIP benefits, but since they apply to every account my gut feeling is that you will not be excluded.

Pokerstars ways of handling things is fairly simple, so don't look for any fancy tricks or work-arounds. Simple, direct language works best.

It doesn't matter how the money got into your account, if you play real money games you earn VPP/FPP and everything that comes with the VIP Program.

Deposit bonuses do require deposits but other bonuses like Stellar Rewards or Bonuses purchased from the VIP store do not.
