Possible to get money off Betonline?

I'm trying to cash off ~800 off betonline, but it seems impossible. Their customer support doesn't even bother responding to my e-mails, account verification, or cash-out requests. I don't have the credit card I used to deposit (expired and got thrown away), so maybe that's what's holding them up. I'm getting ready to move out of the US on Saturday, so I'm sure that won't make this any easier. I'm pretty sure they don't have player transfers. Anything I can do to actually get this money? I initially requested a cashout before the new year, but forgot to send in one of the forms I needed and a week or so later they finally replied to my email. It's been another couple weeks since I sent my documents in and requested a cashout, but no response from them. A little annoying, any advice?

I dont know what issues your having with BetOnline support , they have a live agent chat 24/7 , I know I have harassed them lol. Also a telephone number for live agents and you can ask for a supervisor.

I have withdrew thousands from them via western union usually in about 3 days I receive it.

Yes you will have to send them a utility bill of listed address and license before cashout , no ifs ands or buts.

Does the bill have to have your first name on it -- or just your family name?

I used a doctor bill , it will have to have your first and last name and show address.

without full name and address I would imagine they would not accept it.

If its all you got then its all you got , try to send it and maybe it will get past security.... If that doesnt work you could try a cell phone bill with your name on it sent to your address.

Like I said doctor bills work lol just some are all into that " patient confidentiality " stuff.

Yes Boba we've had a past discussion on this ... however we appear to have very different views on this.

I believe at least some of these players were doing something shady. Does that mean BetOnline followed best practice during the investigation ... no.

However I beleive BetOnline to be reputable and pays their customers faster than any pokersite for US players I can name, and I've played them all.

Right now I have some money on Merge I would absolutely love to have on BetOnline for the fact I can actually receive it...... and not wait 6 friggin plus weeks for it.

Infact someone should make a " BetOnline withdrawel thread " and I would guarantee there would be less problems than indicated by some of these posters complaining of funds stolen.... simply put if your not shady you will most likely not have problems.

Do not collude / chip dump / bonus abuse its simple as that , if you cannot follow these rules find another card room , because this one will infact check and does not like their instant bonuses abused.

Interesting....not often do you have an OP who creates a thread that they are having problems getting money off a site...and then defends the site in said thread when others simply bring up the fact that there have been a troublesome amount of similar threads created by other BOL players with a similar problem.

In any case, GL OP. We'll see if your view of BOL changes as the days turn into weeks and you keep getting the run around from their CS. Hopefully this won't happen, but just my 2 cents wouldn't be surprised if this is the case.

He isn't OP.

Tons of people of had issues with BOL. It almost feels like every week a new one appears. A lot of them for large amounts where they ended up recieving the money.

SBR seems to be the way people go to get their money.

That's fine, I'm just making sure there's some balance on the issue and that OP knows others have had issues. I don't really have much of a view; I just know we've had a few people with complaints, and not many more talking about their great experiences, so I'd say the evidence so far is conclusive at best. Add in the fact that they used to deny they were part of the Action Poker Network (which didn't accept US players) even though they shared the same player pool, and it all makes me think that at the least they're not a very well-run network. Hopefully I'm wrong, or they are able to improve.

Of course Boba and I agree it should be noted past players have had problems, as I too a player and truster of BetOnline will agree they have problems , they should be more transparent with said " investigations " then the players could back the room if these people were violating TOS.

don't read too much into SBR. They get an A rating cause they pay them for it.

Keep searching and many more threads would come up.

For the past issues and the fact they tried to hide what network they were on there is no way they deserve and A rating in any reason person's book. Even the guy which really likes them in this thread I am sure will admit A rating is just insane.

Sites these days cannot even keep player funds segregated from company operating expenses, therefore it's guaranteed there's no segregation of funds from sportsbook to poker room. If you are a losing sports bettor, no doubt you'll have no problems with them. They will gladly take your action and your money. Hit a few lucky parlays, try to cash out an amount over 2-3K, then see how reputable they are....

Thanks for the replys. This was the first thread I read on Betonline. Ive since read many others here and on SBR and not much of it sounds good. Was only looking to make a small deposit to donk off some money on some Hockey games. I have now been reminded why I quit playing online poker but I almost got sucked back in because I miss playing

Steve there are 5 very reputable networks for online poker that do not miss cashouts .... some may take a longer to pay than others , but your money is pretty safe sticking to the major five networks.

No network is safe. There are networks that are safer than BOL (Action Poker Network) for sure...but no network can be called 100% safe. Who would have thought FTP was so fkkked pre-BF?

For example, Merge's silence of separate and caged accounts is a little worrisome. And despite the recent DOJ memo saying online poker is not the direct target of the Wire Act, any site can be shut down at any time.

I am interested to hear this too.

I am guessing you mean

Pokerstars
Ipoker
Party/bwin (party side not ongame side)
888 poker
and maybe Everest?

The rest have had fairly big incidents/examples of being shadey or are too small to be considered safe.I am sure some people could make that argument for some skins on iPoker but I can't really recall.

Another Betonline cash out gone bad

Hi I am have been playing poker professionally for a few years now, some of you might know me as Hasu_Ninja on FTP or Jackmerc on stars, and most recently CopyNinja on Betonline. I deposited 1k on that site 2 times about 3 months ago and ran up the second deposit to about 12-15k and attempted my first cash out. They proceeded to cancel that request due to document verification which is standard so I gave them every thing they asked for and tried cashing out again. A week later on 3/2/2012 I got an email saying this:

Hello Noel.

While reviewing your payment, we noticed an unusual play pattern related to usernames (Player1) and (Player2).

This pattern involves the funds transferring from their account to your account through the hands played.

May you please explain this situation?

Please be aware that we keep records for all the hands involved.

Best regards,
RG
BetOnLine Payouts
payouts@betonline.com

This is pretty bogus I play heads up from 1/2-3/6 about 5 days a week and run into some pretty bad players which was the case here. I am really not sure how to approach this issue I have gotten no responses by emailing them back and they refuse to talk about the situation on the phone telling me to wait for a response from the operations department which still hasn't come. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Oh by the way the cash out amount was just under 5k if that is of any importance..

Who are players 1 and players 2? That will be of some importance as the 2+2 detectives look into this.
Also, post all emails.

Betonline does not have that great of a reputation. I am not surprised if they are doing this so you do not get your money.

Re: Another Betonline Cash out gone bad

Ok sure player1 sn is tyuiop155, player2 sn is CastTroy, unfortunately they have yet to respond to the 3 emails I sent them even though their initial email was sent to me over a week ago.
