Yesterday I got an email saying that my poker account was suspended and will be reviewed in 1 month for a final decision. The software I'm playing on, 888.ro, is only available to Romania so I'm gonna translate the email I have received as understandable in english as possible.

We are contacting you from the Operations Team at 888.ro regarding your name account ****( i can display the name if necesarry ).

We have already contacted you in the past in regards to using scripts or software that helps you find a seat at the table and you have been informed that this kind of software is not allowed at our platform and is considered a violation of Terms and Conditions. Despite these warnings, there have been clear signs that you continued to use scripts or software that helps you find a seat at the table.

Due to violating Terms and Conditions your account has been suspended and will be reviewed in the course of 1 month.

So this is the email I received from them and after searching previous emails I have found one sent on the 6th of February 2017 in which they warn me that if I continue to use scripts or software that helps you find a seat at the table, measures will be taken.

The confusing thing here is that the only two programs I use are Holdem Manager 2 and I have used 888Caption to adjust betsizes at the tables for 1 day, after which i unninstalled it because it was not working properly. From what I've read these 2 programs are not illegal for use, especially considering the fact that my first use of 888Caption was 2 weeks ago, but the first email I got from them was from the 6th of February, so its not because of 888Caption.

I honestly dont understand at what kind of scripts they are reffering to, I dont know if this kind of software even exists, because first of all, in my case, when I sit in a the tables I have an option it the site settings that automaticaly places me at a preffered seat number ( 1-6 in 6max or 1-9 in full ring). But this feature is implemented in the software and is not a script.

After thouroughly thinking about what can be the cause for this missunderstanding, seeing that the 2 pieces of software that I use are not the cause, the only thing that makes sense is the following, bear with me :
Because the site is in Romanian due to legislation, some table formats and features ( like jackpot tables or snap nl200 tables ) are not available to me. Because of this, the main games I play ( nl100 full ring ) has 3-4 tables running at high traffic hours if I'm lucky, and on average there is only 1 table running. This means that I myself have to open tables, so I sit in at 1 or 2 tables waiting for players.

The thing that I think seems suspicious to them is that everytime a recreational player sits in on a table, I leave the table and come back in so I can have position on that player, or players, depending how many join the table. This is one conclusion I have come to after thinking what might be the cause for them to think I'm using some kind of scripts.

Another one might be that they think I use software or scripts to find a seat at a table, but this makes absolutely no sense. Why would I use a script to find a seat at a table when there is such a small amount of active tables in the first place ?

I am completely baffeled and confused by their decision to suspend my account and I'm worried that I might lose all the money.

What do you think should be my course of action ? I have already sent an email to the 888 support team and have opened a petition at the association that represents gambling in my country, but I'm still waiting for a response.

You don't use scripts, yet when they sent you an email over 3 months ago telling you to stop using scripts, you didn't ask them what they were referring to then?

The email that I have registered to the account receives lots of emails from 888poker, like withdrawals confirmations and promotions, so it basically spams me with dozens of emails that I dont check or bother reading. The email from 3 months ago was "lost" amongst the hundreds of emails I got from them. The reason why I found the email that stated my account has been suspended in the first place was because I couldnt log in to the poker site so I thought I should check my email.

The messed up part is that these emails regarding suspension dont show up in my inbox, but in the promotions tab at gmail, which I barely ever check due to it being flooded by a multitude of daily emails regarding withdrawals statements, promotions or bonuses.
