If they completely whipe away status points or dont come up with a rewards system with them soon im taking all my play elsewhere. Pretty ridiculous all the other nj poker sites have rewards programs set up and 888 has had months to catch up but havent yet. Am I the only one with this frustration?

You might not be alone but I don't share it. Due to the 10K freerolls, free $20 SNGs, 50% rebate on tourneys and some initial run good I never had to deposit and now I get the 80% rakeback which is way better than any rewards program out there.

I can see how if you don't have the 80% rakeback you would feel left out though. But from my perspective 888 has offered the most, has the best software, and has a very good rep here

I'm unfamiliar with the free $20 SNGs and the tournament rebates, could you explain? And by the 10K freerolls you're referring to the freerolls that run every hour that you can only play in for the first two or three weeks until your tickets expire?

Count me as one of those feeling left out in the cold, watching through the frosty window as regs in festive sweaters feast on drumsticks and mashed potatoes while enjoying their sweet sweet rakeback.

First couple of months they ran some sick promos. Instead of 24/7 smaller freerolls they just had a deep stacked 10K each night at 8pm.

The tournament tickets they gave me allowed me entry into $20 SNGs. And for a few weeks you got a 50% rebate on tourneys up to $50 per week. In other words, you buyin for $20. Whether you cash or not they refund $10.

So they have had good promos. I am not a fan of the 24/7 freerolls but perhaps it is effective targeting other players. I'm interested to see what comes next.

is anyone else having trouble with the "account" link that opens IE? It keeps saying sorry blah blah and doesn't show me my account.

Yes i have had this same issue for over a week. Support tells me to screen capture and send it to them, which I have. They also told me to uninstall and reinstall the software. Both of these things have got me no where.

Win even when you lose!

Burst the Bubble with 888poker!

For one weekend only, when you finish on the bubble you’ll get your buy-in refunded and a special tournament ticket to an exclusive $1,000 freeroll.
Best of all you don’t need to register for anything special to be eligible. If you finish one spot away from the prize pool in any tournament this weekend – you win!
Suddenly, being on the bubble is the place to be.
Find out more information here: http://us.888poker.com/promotions/burst-the-bubble/

Good luck!

Has it been brought up the 5/10 and 10/20 games need to be changed to 100bbs buy in?

Pretty ridiculous to have a mandatory short stacked game.

888Rep, can you see if a fix is coming soon? It's difficult to calculate when a tournament is starting when I constantly have to subtract 12 hrs for the 24 hr time and also 5 hrs for the GMT time difference.

Seems like it is over at 23:59:59 on Sunday 3/2/2014, and STT's are NOT included.

However, this type of specific information is lacking in the description by the 888 Promotion's Staff.

They should learn from the rake back fiasco that they must dot their "I's" and cross their "T's" or their every promotion will be questioned.

What do you think 888 Rep?

I made a little money playing freerolls and cash games and am heading to Caesars tomorrow. Can I make a withdrawal at the cage without having previously made a deposit?

Quick question:

I was playing a $25 satellite for an entry into the Big Sunday tournament at 888 ($200). We were down to 3 people and 2 people get entry. The one guy says to the other guy something along the lines of "hey ___(other player), let's go after ____(me)". I immediately questioned him as to why he was suggesting they collude and he kind of dismissed it. Of course I finished 3rd. I'm just wondering if I'm bringing up something that is meaningless/stupid and I should just forget about it? Or should I contact 888? It didn't seem like the two players were going soft on one another necessarily, but I didn't like having there be some sense of me vs the 2 of them that was established once the 1st guy said what he said. It may have altered the way I played, though it very well may not have.

Anyway, sorry if this is a dumb question or it's in the wrong spot, but I thought perhaps the 888 rep would know whether or not this is a legitimate concern or just someone unnecessarily whining about bubbling.

sure can, just use the phone next to the main cage on the lower level, then you can pick up whatever amount you told the phone person you want to withdraw. Just make sure to have proper ID.

Have you got any proof like a screenshot of the chat. It would be hard to prove without it as you have said there didn't seem to any collusion in thier play so checking the game hands wouldn't show anything.
If you have any evidence can you please send it to support and they will deal with it for you.

As 888Poker doesn't keep a record of the chat at the tables, and as someone could photoshop chat that they say occurred at the tables, which 888Poker couldn't verify one way or the other, wouldn't it be a nice and respected gesture to believe him and give him an ex gratia entry into another satellite?

I've had problems with things said in chat too. I find it crazy that you guys can't see what wss in chat. I've seem paired flops where someone complains about gaving folded the paired card with action still pending. I've also seen people advise others to xall or fold, along with tons of racist and sexist insults. Isn't there a way you can start to log what is said in chat to look up complaints? We should only have to give you a table number and time to investigate these.

Also, will there be a new promotion when the current freerolls end?

I'd love to see these continue. I was a SNG player before BF and these things have gotten me hooked on MTTs. I'm sure hey could hook more fish if they kept the freerolls going.
