Same thing happened to me. And to boot, I'm on both right now and both crashed... Lol

Is the site down for everyone right now? Was in the middle of an all in hand and got booted.

888 Rep - What are you doing about hands that were in progress?

I was 2/5 in the 2k guarantee, 1st was $1600, 2nd was $400, Not sure if I received just compensation or any compensation at all yet, as I am at work and for some reason cannot get the software to even load. Just keep getting the 888 poker box with the royal flush just repeating saying loading. Any tips on fixing this ? Opened all the ports and edited the firewall to allow all things 888 poker.

First of all, THANKS for probably the most generous promotions in poker history.

Request: PLEASE enable hand histories.

We hear you loud and clear and it has been. The rake has gone down so that you will pay only $1 when HU on these tables.

For now, HEM and PT are not supported. I'll update if and when this changes.

Sorry about that. You are entitled to get an equal share of the remaining prize pool -remaining prize pool ÷ number of remaining players (assuming you were in a tournament) at the point of the downtime. If your account has not been credited yet, please contact the Support Team and they can investigate and address this for you.

Our apologies in regards to this issue. We are working with a 3rd party provider to address this and expect gradual improvement.

Both sites are running on the same platform; but the player pool is different. Therefore, you will need to use different usernames when creating an account in each room.

Note: you can play in both rooms simultaneously.

Now when I try to register and make an account I can get as far as my social security number and cell phone # which says are both already in use.

How do I recover what has been used then? or is there any way I can reset my social or something because I'm 100% positive I currently do not have a name registered with my social.
To ensure that you do not have an 888poker account already, please send a mail off to Support for them to check it for you.

Our rake is one of the lowest of the NJ sites and definitely the lowest if you are playing HU -ONLY 1%.

I will pass your feedback on in regards to rakeback, but I can't make any promises there.

Hi Mrmarcon, do you have a suggestion for how to improve it besides free fees (which we are already offering)?

888 rep: what about live cash games that were in a hand when the site crashed last night?

I was in 4 tournaments with nice stacks. I also still have not been paid.

When Party used to crash pre-UIGEA, they would announce that they were paying half the pool divided between the remaining players and half prorated by number of chips. Stars has always immediately paid people if this happens. I think it would be better to announce how the payments are being made. As I understand it now, some people have been paid and some haven't.

You just added $25 which is good but maybe having a standardized number would be better since the next lowest number is $11. Maybe something like $11 $22 $33 $50 would work.

I truly believed that you and WSOP.com have the best software currently it's just a shame that in terms of sit and go traffic you are nowhere near borgata/party poker which has way inferior software. I'm not sure what you can do to change that besides maybe offering some type of huge rakeback promotion for those who earn a certain number of points. I think that's an even better promotion than just having rake free sngs because it encourages people to play a large quantity of games. Either way the site has big potential and thanks for listening for suggestions.

Just going to cut and paste this here...

Was never refunded my buy in from last night on the tourney I had just registered for before 888 crashed.

It was only $5, but this is the stuff that kills my confidence and trust in their site to make any significant deposits or play any big tourney's or bigger cash games.

How and why wouldn't they auto refund me?

I late registered around 20 minutes after the tourney started and was booted only maybe 10 minutes later at most when the site crashed. I tried to get back on for maybe an hour before I just said whatever and went to sleep, yet there's a complete hand history for well over 1000 hands and if you replay some, you can see everyone was sitting out.

Again, it's not even the $5, once the bugs are worked out of this site I'll also be playing much bigger buy in's, but it's principle and even more so, it's just troubling that my buy in is not being returned under these circumstances. What happens if the site crashes for hours minutes after I buy in to a $200+ tourney, or mid big hand on 1/2 or higher once player pools expand?

It just winds up they beat you?

888 has easily been my favorite so far, but stuff like this sours me quick.

It seems unusual that they haven't paid people for the tournaments that they were playing when 888 crashed. Also, they apparently haven't announced what formula they will use to pay people.

Personally, I'm not looking for anything special really. I had just entered when it crashed and had maybe $2,700 to $2,800 of my initial $3,000 starting stack IIRC.

My buy in returned would be a good start and I would much appreciate maybe another free ticket or two to the 10K free rolls as an apology of sorts for leaving me hanging.

I mean those free rolls are running the whole month no matter what anyway, it's not like it would cost them anything to throw that in.

Something like that would go a long way as a sign of good faith for me, I don't know how others feel who have yet to be refunded?

Maybe has something to do with HUD's.
