is it just me or is there practically no one on this poker client at all

It's literally 95% bots

small sample size but im on a table with 3 others who can chat, probably not bots

just realized Grand Poker has a mobile app... anyone been using it?

Did this thread die? Is it still current? I'm reviewing the 4 sites I can join on (5 if we include Ignition/Bovada).

I know that this thread is not frequently posted within, however, I will throw this one out there just in case anyone is keeping up to date.

Does anyone know why 5dimes has consistently decreased the stakes of their NL offerings? When I first joined the site, there was the option to sit at 5/10 NL games, and that was subsequently reduced to 3/6. As of this morning, their highest offering is now 1/2 for the no limit tables.

My only assumption would be that their loyal sports book customers are losing too much in the poker room, and they want to keep more of that money within the sports book.

Let me know if anyone has any thoughts on the matter.

That is a concern for me as well. I contacted support about it to express my dismay at the loss of 3/6, hopefully they will bring it back.

They took away the VIP point tournaments for a month or so last year and brought it back after players contacted support about it.

Fun, just got a popup from Grand Poker that my account has been blocked. That's an extremely mature customer service response to a polite inquiry about the disappearance of the 2/4 and 3/6 games.

they really blocked u for asking some questions about the games?

Poker room manager "Lane" has not replied to my emails. About an hour after contacting customer support the popup showed up that my account was blocked due to "Management decision." Classy 5dimes, classy.

5dimes always seemed sketchy. their website looked like absolute trash too, so i didnt deposit.

im not that familiar w the 5dimes poker room as they r mostly a sportsbook, but do they have a rec friendly policy? (ie. winners r discouraged from playing)

maybe this is what led to the block

Any update on this? That is ridiculous that they would ban you for inquiring about the game offerings.

Still banned, poker room management does not respond to my emails and live chat repeats "per management decision you are restricted from the poker room" with no other explanation.

My funds were moved to the sportsbook and I received them today, which is something.

This has been going on in the poker world for some time now. Banning high rate winning players.

This is downright astonishing to me considering how little traffic they get, even during peak hours.

I don't understand why 5dimes and Carbon don't spread 2nl/4nl and above 200nl/500nl. Seems to me that if they wanted to increase traffic they would try to get as many players as possible.

A couple of weeks ago basically the same thing happened to me. From one day to the other I couldn't log into the poker software anymore. The software told me I've been blocked. Support confirmed this but couldn't (or wouldn't) give me an explanation except for "management decision". It took the poker management almost two weeks to reply to my inquiries. I asked them why I was banned and what is going to happen to my remaining player points? I wasn’t given any explanation by them though but they converted all player points, which I’ve haven’t had spent yet for 35% rate. Playing their RB tournaments they would’ve been worth about 60-70%. I knew a discussion was pointless from the affiliate through I registered on the site. (The site stopped paying the affiliate pretty much from one day of the other).

The cashout through Bitcoin was fast and I got all my money except for the low exchange rate of my player points. Regular support also replied reasonable fast and I believe them that they don’t know much about these "management decisions".

Personally I believe the management wants to get rid of winning players who cash out regularly. This would also explain why they have removed tables higher than NL200. I don’t really know how they can afford to ban players having the small player pool they do, (1-6 no limit tables running at the most all stakes combined), but I guess management always knows best…

They have the best sportsbook but poker site is low traffic and sketchy, always feel like the regs on the site share cards and work for the site. only time its worth playing is if a new fish is on table. dont trust the site to play against their players run way above ev.

Can anyone access the poker room now? Not connecting from me

I read from an affiliate of them that they're migrating the poker room to a different host because of outage problems they had last week where it was down for a few days. Ironically they expect it to now be down for a few days this week while this occurs but @ least it's planned this time.

I was also recently told that they are switching poker servers and upgrading the client.

I asked for an ETA, but none was available and it's been about 30h without an answer.
