Re: 5050poker, another MicroGaming skin down the road? (bites the dust)

lets try something. anyone who has more than 1000$ in there account, we should get together thro skype and talk about getting in contact with lawyers and doing some type of civil lawsuit...my law knowledge is awful but if this can't be fought in court of law, then the law system is flawed to allow these loopholes to occur

Saying that the management at 5050 had no clue that they were using players money is the biggest load of **** I have every seen. Aren't auditors legally responsible here as well?

I don't live in Sweden but a friend of me will go to the police thursday to file a report.
I think every player who lives in Sweden should do that. Believe me they will also check all withdrawals of the last weeks/months to for example sponsored players. Lets see if they took their money out in time.

Re: 5050poker, another MicroGaming skin down the road? (bites the dust)

Let's sue them as a group, I find it hard to believe that we won't win this case since they just said that they were stealing money from us in their open letter... They breached the terms of our contract - they were investing our money without our knowledge as well as to using our money to cover their debts. They had to know what they were doing since according to them it lasted for a year ans seriously it is impossible to use 150k euro by mistake from players account by mistake. Also why would we care about 5050 Poker Ltd. not generating profit or management mistakes? It is not our concern, we are not even shareholders(actually we kinda are since it was our money that they invested) and if they can't manage company they should give us our money and shut down it.

Re: 5050poker, another MicroGaming skin down the road? (bites the dust)

what a load of bull crap. How can operational costs exceed the revenues, when their business model is zero marketing costs, and instead just give out crazy rakeback deals?

What's worse is that the owners are all respected poker players within their own poker community, and now they decide to $h1t on their own kind! It's the Dutch Boyd saga all over again!

They might have been giving > 100% rakeback to some players - welcome bonus, promotional costs, rakeback, affiliate costs, network fees etc.

Re: 5050poker, another MicroGaming skin down the road? (bites the dust)

Not our problem though, it is their mistake that they can't manage and offer more than they can. We are not the ones who should pay for their incompetence(which is probably not incompetence but thievery). They had no problems hiring more poker pros or organizising trips to Thailand instead of cutting costs so now we should make them pay for what they have made. And seriously this 5050 Poker AB holding isn't responsible for 5050 Poker Ltd.? They think they can liquidate it do some investigation and everything is fine? They have got our money and I'm pretty sure they knew what was going on since I can't believe they wouldn't know as mother company what was happening behind the scenes in 5050 Poker Ltd. Either way they should pay their active debts.

Re: 5050poker, another MicroGaming skin down the road? (bites the dust)

It is shocking how deflective the management are being. 'We did not know' is not a defence, it’s just a lie. If it’s not a lie, then the ‘management’ should NEVER be allowed to hold similar ‘responsible’ roles.

It is the management’s job to 'Know' what is going on.
