40,000euros stolen by dollaropoker.com
Hi,
This is a warning not to play on the site DollaroPoker or DollaroBet and also looking for advice on whether there is some sort of gaming commission I can contact to resolve the issue.
In July I played on a site called DollaroPoker. A friend of mine heard about the site in Monte Carlo (through someone who "works" for the site called Gustavo). He played a bit and won a few thousand euros then withdrew it all successfully to his moneybookers.
I deposited 7500e in July and played the site for about a month. I then tried to withdraw about 45,000e and the difficulties began. I was told that I could only withdraw small amounts after a month of trying to contact someone. Long story short I have spoken to multiple people, been given the run around and only managed to withdraw 6,000 euros in 6 months. I've been told conflicting information about how to cash out from different people and now I am just ignored thru email and skype support.
I have even been blocked by some of their support team on skype (skype is the only way you can speak to anyone).
Is there any sort of protocol in getting this money back?
Thanks,
nextgenneo

Re: 40,000euros stolen by dollaropoker.com
Wow, thats some ****ed up ****.
I guess the most important question is, you believe after all this time and contact with support that these ppl are scamming you and have no intention on paying you at all or do they have very player unfriendly cashout policies, like a max. cashout per month?
Basicly its a jungle out there, and all these pokerrooms and online casino's can do as they please I noticed too (never been completely ripped off though, more annoying delays and rules for cashout and such). Getting your money through some authority is probably your very last option and has very small chance of success.
Guess my point is, if you think they are not complete frauds, you should approach them again (nicely!) and try to make some deal to cashout a coupla k per month or so.
If they are frauds, you might want to investigate their exact location and research any gaming comission in Monaco, which I'm sure exists. If that doesn't work, you could even consider contacting local police, allthough that ofc is also a long shot.
GL, keep us posted!

Honestly? People need a warning for this?
I appreciate that this completely sucks for you and that you had reason to believe the were a legit site but seriously.... Dollaro Poker? What on earth were you thinking allowing 45k to accumulate on an account with a virtually unheard of poker site?

Reason: Sorry... just re-read OP and notice that you ran it all up in 1 month. The site still sounds super-sketchy though

Why the **** do people play at these sites named like DickButtiusMaximusPoker then post to IG and complain that their money was stolen? Jesus christ, you people, get a grip.

Re: 40,000euros stolen by dollaropoker.com
hi OP. I was referred to this site by a person who plays live poker on my city. this guy created a real money account for me without using any of my true details and gave me 10 euros for free. it looks like he works as an affiliate for one of the skins and is able to sell/buy credits.
I checked the site and everything is horrible including the players (the only reason why I considerated in playing there since the middle stakes games can be compared to micro stakes on Stars)
I found the skype of the owner of my skin and asked what my friend receives by referring me. he said around 10% rb of my MGR. So I was like "hm maybe I can get some type of rakeback deal". I tried to talk with him about it and after a long conversation he basically told me to "play for a month then he was going to see what deal he can offer me". I kept asking several questions until he told me that there was a huge winner on this site banking $30-40k (euros) per month but that was bad for their customers since he was busting everybody. so in order to deal with this guy they banned him forever. he didn't tell me what happened to his bankroll but I assume that they stole it.
The reason why he told me that story was because the guy raked around $1k per day and they didn't offer him RB. so like "well why I'm gonna give you rakeback if there was a huge winner on the past who payed much more?"
After that I blocked/deleted him from MSN and never opened the site again.
Unfortunately I don't think that you will be receiving the money from them.

Well obviously I was skeptical but as we had actually spoke to people about the site and a friend of mine had won money and managed to cash it out I felt that the site was soft enough to warrant playing on there. Obviously there is always a risk and I play the majority of my hands on major sites, however like everything in poker there's variance.
I happened to run bad w/ the site but I can atleast attempt to recover my funds.

Re: 40,000euros stolen by dollaropoker.com
tzimisc: yeah, I was offered 30% rakeback and raked about 7,000 euros in a month because the rake in each hand is ~5 euros (additional to what I won). I was also given the run around over the rakeback and I gave up on ever touching that a long time ago.

Re: 40,000euros stolen by dollaropoker.com
lol why would you ever deposit so much money on a site like this? You could see red flags from a mile away.
Anyways if they are licensed by a gaming commission somewhere, like all the reputable poker sites are, then you could file a complaint with them. Otherwise you're screwed.

Re: 40,000euros stolen by dollaropoker.com
Based in Romania.
No mention of gaming commission.
No corporate info.
Dollarobet srl is the company. Good luck.
The site resembles a phishing website more than a legit poker site. I don't understand why anyone would deposit money with them.

Hi Genneo,
I would like to help to resolve your situation. We are running a skin for dollaropoker and I am concerned with your post and what it is implicating. After reading your post and the replies I contacted dollaropoker about your situation. After hearing their version, assuming that we are talking about the same persons involved, there seems to be a discrepancy between your respective amounts.
I have some questions for you:
-Are you K.B. or S.P.?
-Can you produce a screenshot with your account balance with date?
I have some more remarks about the posts above, but let's wait for a response from you.
kind regards,
Ed de Haas
