When in Reno in April for a golf outing with 20 guys, we stayed at the Eldorado. About half of us play poker and the poker room manager there was super accommodating and set up a cash game table with dealer just for our group. We didn't ask in advance of the trip, we wandered in and they did it on the spot. The only stipulation is that we were ineligible for any jackpots which was fine by us.

I believe they have since consolidated that room with its sister property, Silver Legacy but I would like to give them props for doing that for us.

Did they take a rake? Did the dealer switch out every 30 minutes?

They did take the standard house rake (I can't recall exactly what it is but I remember it being reasonable) and the dealers switched out less frequently than that, I believe, but can't be sure.

Our group was far from nitty, loose with tips to staff and weren't going to be a problem for anyone. A couple dealers said how much they enjoyed getting a break from the regs.
