hello 2+2,

soon im going to the moto gp in estoril and while im there it seems good moment to play some live games, when the race/qualifiers are done i have a sea of time to grind.ive been there in 2006 so i know its pretty big and has cardrooms but then at the time never plyd hand so dont know how the pokerz action is so feel free to share...

Any experiences now?

I'm going there in two weeks to play Grand Live Estoril.

I heard that there is lightning poker tables and game is very soft in those. Is that correct?

The other casino in lisbon also isnt for poker until that has chanced. During weekend it has tournaments. Lisbon isnt or hasnt been for live poker, porto is better though the nearest casino is 20km away, though there are hotels, camping, swimming, surfing, nlh and potentially plo, and up to 1k nlh and 400 plo but who knows these days, 8 tables running every day potentially 12 hours per day, dont know about the costs but it seems five years ago it was 20e per hour and so might be like in london, madrid.

I'm traveling to Lisbon in September and would love to play poker if possible when there. The website for Casino Estoril says it offers poker at certain times. It says you can register for Hold'Em and Omaha. Does anyone know if the Omaha is PLO or hi-low?

How are games these days in Estoril from Monday to Sunday? Running every day and what are stakes normally?

Planning to come play to Europe and this casino seems to be quite big and nice.

Looks like several people asked questions, but nobody ever answered or reported on their efforts. Rake structure looks terrible anyways.
