Hello!

I'm going to Prague 14th June this summer with some friends.

We are looking for some nice casinos and it's our first visit to Prague, we are going to stay 1 week.

Do you have any ideas or tips for us that are interested of playing everything from tournaments to daily cash games? What casinos should we visit and most important what is the most common played stakes there and what is the lowest stake possibly to been played? (Due to bank rollmanagement).

I also prefer PLO is it rarely seen or some table active daily?

Yours, Zidorz.

Hi Z.,

I'll try to answer your questions:

1. Daily cashgame is running in Ambassador casino at Wenceslas Square, in the afternoon 1 - 2 tables 10/20 CZK, in the evening 3 - 5 tables 10/20, one 25/50 or 50/100 later.

2. 1 - 2 tables 10/20 and more regulars you can find in Showdown poker club, about 300 metres from Ambassador. Daily tournaments are best in the centre of Prague, they are suitable for (pre) intermediate and better players, quite affordable.

3. PLO is played at WIN casino in Revolucni street, the level is expert, not to mention the stakes are a little bit high. There is Wednesday 1 table NLH / Omaha dealer's choice in Brandys nad Labem (Forbes Casino) 30 minutes from Prague 20/40 CZK, but the competition is tough (Martin Hruby and friends).

4. I like to play in Rozvadov casino 90 minutes from Prague centre by car or shuttle (2.000,- CZK), large tournaments, cashgame 1€/3€ especially through Thursday to Sunday is nice, PLO 2/2 is available at normal level.

I hope it helped, you can find more details at Prague poker blog.

Good luck,

M.
