Sounds like they are condsidering putting a casino at the Meadowlands. I'm pretty excited to have poker in Pennsylvania, but if they get poker at the Meadowlands that would be unbelievable.

I live within walking distance of the stadium, if they ever did this I would be a fixture.

today The Hard Rock Casino announced their plans to put a major casino resort next to the Meadowlands racetrack.

There is no info on whether they will have a poker room, but since it's The Hard Rock, and it's proximity to NYC, I'm hoping they will include live poker.

I will be so happy if this happens. They could easily have a 100 table room there.

I think they need a public referendum to make it happen - Meadowlands and Monmouth are prime locations. Also, you could easily put one around the 287 - 80 intersection as well.

that is the busiest intersection during rush hour.

They do need the public to vote to allow casino's outside of AC in November but they will be sold on how many people from NY and north jersey travel to PA to spend their tax dollars instead of staying local, plus all the jobs it will bring to the area.

Should have done it when they built the stadium like someone wanted to.

Dumbasses in AC were half right. "put a casino there and it will hurt AC, don't do it."

Right answer was, "put a casino there and it will hurt AC, don't let them do it, let us do it."

Instead they took the best of both worlds, don't build it and let the PA casinos hurt AC.

Politics never anticipates problems it reacts to them. The South Jersey politicians would have never passed a bill like this right when PA approved casinos. Casinos are about population centers now not legacy gaming areas.
