Didn't read past point 1 because that is collusion.

Do what you want. Play how you want. It's 1/2. Have fun. If people bring up something or floor says something then avoid doing what upsets them, but other wise who cares.

Wtf does the stakes have anything to do with it? Doesn't matter if it's 1c/2c or 1k/2k. Collusion is collusion.

Who cares? erm the other people at table who shouldn't have to put up with someone breaking rules when there $$ is involved obv. Saying that is just stupid.

My wife and I play tournaments and we occasionally end up on the same table. This is exactly our philosophy as well, especially your first point.

I don't understand why OP and his wife check it down against each other. It's a cash game so all the money is going back into the same pot after the session anyway. Why not play hard against each other just for the hell of it? It also avoids a pretty awkward scene if you both happen to have strong hands.

"Of course we're married. You don't think I'd live in sin with someone who plays that bad!"

(At least that's what my wife said)
